Israel Will Help Create a Free Kurdistan: Will it Become Israel’s End Time Foe?
What I’m about to propose in this article is probably something unheard of so please, take it with a grain of salt and keep in mind this is mere conjecture and speculation but I think it is something that needs to be addressed and considered as a possible scenario.
Those of us who study Bible prophecy spend a great deal of time focusing on the rise of Israel’s ultimate end time enemy, the infamous Antichrist. Is it possible that that Israel will help create its ultimate enemy? Just follow along and you will understand how this might end up being the case in the years ahead.
As I have presented in my book and in several articles on this blog, I believe the Antichrist will rise out of a newly established nation in the Middle East, the eleventh “little horn” as small insignificant country after the rise of a 10 nation confederacy.
I have pointed out that he will be what the Bible refers to as “the Assyrian.” This means that he must come from the ancient Assyrian region northeast of Israel which encompasses what we know today as parts of Turkey, Syria, Iraq and Iran.
I have considered different scenarios on chapter 6 of my book The Coming Bible Prophecy Reformation. In that chapter I pointed out that he could be an ethnic Assyrian from northern Iraq or an ethnic Arab from either Syria or Iraq. I started writing the book in 2010 and it was published in 2014 but what I did not mention in the book was an idea that had crossed my mind a few years earlier in October of 2009.
Back then I had a web site called “The Beast From The East” which featured articles written by myself and several other end time prophecy authors. In 2012 I became discouraged, decided to take a break from prophecy and focus on my small business. I took the web site down and lost many of the articles I had written. Other sites that had published my articles back in 2009 were also taken down years later.
I recently came to find out that a blogger by the name of Peter Johnson posted one of my articles in May of 2010. This article was written on October 25, 2009 when the idea of the Antichrist possibly rising out of Kurdistan crossed my mind. The article can be accessed on the following link:

You might be wondering how the Antichrist can be both a Kurd and an Assyrian at the same time, after all, Assyrians and Kurds are two distinct ethnic groups and it’s believed that the modern Kurds are related to the ancient Medes.
I have also pointed out that the Assyrian Antichrist will rise as a Muslim. Assyrians for the most part are Christians but what most people don’t know is that according to the SEYFO Assyrian Genocide Research Center, many Assyrians were forced to convert to Islam in Ottoman Turkey. Many were killed and their children were raised as ethnic Turks or Kurds.
Crypto- Assyrians, is a term to describe those Assyrians that are full-fledged ethnic Assyrians or those that of partial Assyrian origin; yet they feel obliged to hide their Assyrian identity from the Turkish and the Kurdish society. These people are the descendants of Assyrians in Ottoman Turkey. Their parents were killed; many orphans were taken as slaves and worked for the Kurdish aghas. Assyrian women were taken into harems by Muslim husbands and were converted to Islam, forced into slavery, and raised as Turks or Kurds. Orphans, girls, and women were forcefully taken from their parents and were sold on the markets in a very similar way to many Yezidi women and girls in Iraq in the hands of ISIS. Now that we have established that some ethnic Assyrians were raised as Kurds and that Assyrians were assimilated into Kurdish culture, I want to address the following question: How will Israel help create the nation of the Antichrist who will later turn against Israel and kickstart what will be the massive end time persecution of Jews known as the Great Tribulation?
First we need to understand how Israel will for a time rely on the Assyrian. In Isaiah 10 we read the following:
1 ¶ “Woe to those who decree unrighteous decrees,
Who write misfortune,
Which they have prescribed2 To rob the needy of justice,
And to take what is right from the poor of My people,
That widows may be their prey,
And that they may rob the fatherless.3 What will you do in the day of punishment,
And in the desolation which will come from afar?
To whom will you flee for help?
And where will you leave your glory?4 Without Me they shall bow down among the prisoners,
And they shall fall among the slain.”
For all this His anger is not turned away,
But His hand is stretched out still.
5 “Woe to Assyria, the rod of My anger
And the staff in whose hand is My indignation.6 I will send him against an ungodly nation,
And against the people of My wrath
I will give him charge,
To seize the spoil, to take the prey,
And to tread them down like the mire of the streets.7 Yet he does not mean so,
Nor does his heart think so;
But it is in his heart to destroy,
And cut off not a few nations.8 For he says,
‘Are not my princes altogether kings?9 Is not Calno like Carchemish?
Is not Hamath like Arpad?
Is not Samaria like Damascus?10 As my hand has found the kingdoms of the idols,
Whose carved images excelled those of Jerusalem and Samaria,11 As I have done to Samaria and her idols,
Shall I not do also to Jerusalem and her idols?’ ”
12 ¶ Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Lord has performed all His work on Mount Zion and on Jerusalem, that He will say, “I will punish the fruit of the arrogant heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his haughty looks.”13 ¶ For he says:
“By the strength of my hand I have done it,
And by my wisdom, for I am prudent;
Also I have removed the boundaries of the people,
And have robbed their treasuries;
So I have put down the inhabitants like a valiant man.14 My hand has found like a nest the riches of the people,
And as one gathers eggs that are left,
I have gathered all the earth;
And there was no one who moved his wing,
Nor opened his mouth with even a peep.”
15 Shall the ax boast itself against him who chops with it?
Or shall the saw exalt itself against him who saws with it?
As if a rod could wield itself against those who lift it up,
Or as if a staff could lift up, as if it were not wood!16 Therefore the Lord, the Lordfn of hosts,
Will send leanness among his fat ones;
And under his glory
He will kindle a burning
Like the burning of a fire.17 So the Light of Israel will be for a fire,
And his Holy One for a flame;
It will burn and devour
His thorns and his briers in one day.18 And it will consume the glory of his forest and of his fruitful field,
Both soul and body;
And they will be as when a sick man wastes away.19 Then the rest of the trees of his forest
Will be so few in number
That a child may write them.
The Returning Remnant of Israel
20 And it shall come to pass in that day
That the remnant of Israel,
And such as have escaped of the house of Jacob,
Will never again **depend** on **him who defeated them**,
But will depend on the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.21 The remnant will return, the remnant of Jacob,
To the Mighty God.22 For though your people, O Israel, be as the sand of the sea,
A remnant of them will return;
The destruction decreed shall overflow with righteousness.23 For the Lord GOD of hosts
Will make a determined end
In the midst of all the land.
24 ¶ Therefore thus says the Lord GOD of hosts: “O My people, who dwell in Zion, do not be afraid of the Assyrian. He shall strike you with a rod and lift up his staff against you, in the manner of Egypt.25 “For yet a very little while and the indignation will cease, as will My anger in their destruction.”26 And the LORD of hosts will stir up a scourge for him like the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb; as His rod was on the sea, so will He lift it up in the manner of Egypt.
27 It shall come to pass in that day
That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder,
And his yoke from your neck,
And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil.
28 He has come to Aiath,
He has passed Migron;
At Michmash he has attended to his equipment.29 They have gone along the ridge,
They have taken up lodging at Geba.
Ramah is afraid,
Gibeah of Saul has fled.30 Lift up your voice,
O daughter of Gallim!
Cause it to be heard as far as Laish—
O poor Anathoth!fn31 Madmenah has fled,
The inhabitants of Gebim seek refuge.32 As yet he will remain at Nob that day;
He will shake his fist at the mount of the daughter of Zion,
The hill of Jerusalem.
33 Behold, the Lord,
The LORD of hosts,
Will lop off the bough with terror;
Those of high stature will be hewn down,
And the haughty will be humbled.34 He will cut down the thickets of the forest with iron,
And Lebanon will fall by the Mighty One. (Isaiah 10:1-34)
In this passage we learn that God will raise Assyria as the rod of His indignation to punish Israel. Then after God performs His whole work in Zion and Jerusalem , He will punish the arrogant heart of the king of Assyria. God himself will be a fire for Israel. In verse 20 we read the strange phrase that the remnant of Israel will never “depend” or rely on him (the Assyrian) who defeated them. The Hebrew word translated “depend” means to “lean on” or “trust in.” This implies that for a time Israel will trust, lean on and rely on this Assyrian ruler.
How will Israel help him rise to power?
If the Assyrian Antichrist will indeed rise as someone who was born and raised as an ethnic Kurd as I have speculated in my 2009 article titled “Could the Antichrist be from Kurdistan?”, we will witness a strengthening of Israeli-Kurdish relations in the years ahead and Israel will push for Kurdish independence and a free Kurdistan.
Wikipedia states:
The State of Israel and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq maintain a close informal relationship, but do not have formal diplomatic missions in each other’s territory. Their ties are rooted in Israel’s historically strong support for the Kurdish people and their long-running desire for self-determination and national independence in Kurdistan.[1] In 1992, shortly after Iraq lost the Gulf War, the Kurdistan Region was recognized as an autonomous entity and began governing a portion of Iraqi Kurdistan, marking a significant development in the Iraqi–Kurdish conflict. The Iraqi government and the Kurdish government have differing policies with regard to the entry of Israeli citizens into their territory: Kurdish authorities accept Israeli passports at Erbil and Sulaymaniyah, and Israelis are entitled to regular freedom of movement throughout the Kurdistan Region; but Iraqi authorities do not accept Israeli passports, and Israelis are forbidden from entering Iraq proper. Residents of the Kurdistan Region are bound by the Iraqi passport, which prohibits all travel to Israel. This is because Iraq, which has been a party to the Arab–Israeli conflict since Israel’s founding in 1948, does not recognize Israeli sovereignty.
Israel–Kurdistan relations
In light of Israel’s conflict with the Arab countries, the Kurdistan Region has declared that there is no cause for animosity between Kurds and Israelis.[2] In 2017, the Israeli government openly voiced support for the establishment of an independent Kurdish state.[3]
We also have to consider the Oded Yinon plan which seeks the fragmentation of Arab nations surrounding Israel into smaller political, ethnic, or religious entities. Yinon argued that such divisions would weaken these states, rendering them incapable of countering Israel’s interests or resisting its directives. In his view, countries like Iraq should be divided into separate territories for Kurds, Shiites, and Sunnis, transforming them into weaker satellite states that could be more easily manipulated in line with Zionist policies and strategies. This approach has been extensively analyzed in Oded Yinon’s writings and those of other Zionist strategists since the establishment of Israel. According to the Yinon Plan, the dissolution of strong and cohesive Arab states is not only in the interest of the Zionist regime but is also considered a prerequisite for the establishment of a “Greater Israel.” Specifically, the division of Iraq into a separate Shiite state, a Sunni state, and a Kurdish region was prioritized—a clear indication that the plan’s objectives for balkanizing countries were operational and based on precise prior assessments. The Zionist argument was that such fragmentation would enable Israel to reduce threats posed by unified Arab nationalism as a reaction to its policies. Proponents of balkanization fundamentally support sustained regional instability to dismantle the foundation of stable and united states, an idea that Israeli leaders find conducive to their geopolitical and security frameworks.

Notice that a “Free Kurdistan” will exist as a new independent country and will gain territory covering parts of Turkey, Syria, Iraq and Iran. In my 2009 article I mentioned how this could lead to the fulfillment of the little horn of Daniel 7 & 8 conquering 3 of the 10 horns as he advances toward the south (Syria and Iraq) and the east (Iran).
This Free Kurdistan would roughly cover the heart of ancient Assyria. Compare the maps below.
What prompted me to revisit this idea of the Antichrist possibly rising in Kurdistan after 16 it was written was a recent post I saw on Instagram of an Arab Sheikh claiming that a “famous priest” told him that “Kurds will liberate Palestine again.” You can watch that in a screen record video I made with my iPhone below.
It is interesting that he mentions Nebuchadnezzar, Sennacherib and Salahudin, as being “Iraqis of Kurdish origin” and that the fourth person who will “end the Jews” will be an “Iraqi Kurd.”
Perhaps everything he said and everything I wrote in my 2009 article about the Antichrist possibly rising out of the Kurdistan region and everything I’m writing here is just a bunch of nonsense. Many people who read this will probably think so but what if this ends up being the case? We have to at least consider the possibility.
For a time I was completely sold on the idea of a Shiite Muslim being the Antichrist in the person of Imam Al-Mahdi as mentioned in my book and on several articles on this blog but what if a different scenario presents itself? What if what most of what we prophecy students expect never comes to pass?
What if the true identity of Israel’s foe is hiding in plain sight as one of israel’s regional “friends” who Israel wants to help achieve independence in order to help Israel fight its Arabs enemies? Perhaps a Shiite Kurd will fulfill the role of the Antichrist, who knows? Feyli (or Faili) refers to a significant branch of Kurds, primarily Shia Muslim, living in the borderlands of Iran and Iraq.
Below are two maps I saw in a Kurdish page on the X platform. Apparently Kurds share a similar goal with Israel of creating a greater Kurdistan alongside a Greater Israel and a free Baluchistan which is considered Israel’s Strategic Blind Spot as seen on the following link:

We know that in the beginning of his military career, the Antichrist will engage in several military campaigns against his neighbors before he decides to invade Israel and exterminate the Jews. What if his military campaigns against nations such as Syria, Iraq and Iran as he enforces the idea of an independent and free Kurdistan is a strategy to convince Israel to “depend” or “rely” on him as a “friend” against Israel’s Arab enemies as seen in Isaiah 10:20?
I know all of this sounds a bit crazy now but we have to be open to different scenarios. Go back to my 2009 article, read it with an open mind and start paying attention to what Israel and the Kurds will be up to in the years ahead. We might see the unexpected start unfolding before our eyes and that will be a sign that the return of our blessed Lord and Savior Jesus the Messiah is just around the corner and these events can be used to convince friends and loved ones that we have arrived at the time of the end of the age.

The beast is like a leopard (Seleucid/Turkey/Syria/Iraq/Iran), has the feet of a bear (Persia/Iran) and the mouth of a lion (Babylon/Iraq) – Revelation 13:2
Some believe the Antichrist will be from Turkey, some believe he will be from Syria and some like me believe he will come from Iraq. If he is from the Kurdistan region, he will have geographical connections to all those nations simultaneously. The geography of the beast could be hiding in plain sight and it is the same general region of ancient Assyria.

16 years ago on October 25, 2009 I wrote an article considering the possibility that the little horn nation of the Antichrist could rise out of Kurdistan.

Geographical Identifiers of the Antichrist
We have all heard how the Antichrist will rise out of Europe and some even go as far to suggest he will be an American president but the biblical prophets left several geographical identifiers and they all point to the same exact location: Mesopotamia.
We will briefly go through each passage to make a point but for a more in-depth study on this subject, read chapter 6 titled “The Middle Eastern Antichrist” in our book The Coming Bible Prophecy Reformation published in 2014.
Micah 5
This passage begins with the birth of the Messiah in Bethlehem and in verses 5 and 6 He will be the peace of Israel when “Assyria” invades their land. In verse 6 Assyria is associated with the “land of Nimrod” which is identified as “Shinar” in Genesis 10:10-11. Shinar is the Hebrew equivalent of the Greek word for Mesopotamia.
Isaiah 13 & 14
These chapters begin with an oracle against Babylon. Chapter 13 describes a future destruction of Babylon which must happen when the “ the stars won’t shine, the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give her light” (Isaiah 13:10). This is the same celestial event that happens at the end of the tribulation in Matthew 24:29. In Isaiah 23:19 Babylon is geographically associated with the land of the “Chaldeans.” Here is we have another reference to a region associated with Mesopotamia.
Isaiah 14 continues with the destruction of Babylon and Israel’s final restoration. In verse 4 Israel will sing a song of contempt against the “king of Babylon” who in verse 14 is associated with “Heylel”, the word translated as Lucifer in English bibles. This Hebrew word is translated as “Hilal” in the Easy to Read Version of the Arabic Bible which translates as “crescent of the dawn.” The Crescent is the symbol of Islam, the official religion of the modern nations of the Mesopotamian region and was also the symbol of ancient Mesopotamian religion which worshipped the host of heaven or celestial bodies as God disinherited the nations at the Tower of Babel event:
And take heed, lest you lift your eyes to heaven, and whenyou see the sun, the moon, and the stars, all the host of heaven, you feel driven to worship them and serve them, which the LORDyour God has given to all the peoples under the whole heaven as a heritage (Deuteronomy 4:19)
In Isaiah 14:25 the king of this future Babylonian empire that will oppress Israel is associated with Assyria and called the “Assyrian.” Babylon, Chaldea and Assyria are all connected with future events involving the oppression of Israel before its final restoration.
Daniel 11
This chapter starts with the rise of Persian kings and their defeat by the king of Grecia. The following verses deal with the division of the Grecian kingdom into four major regions and starting in verse 5, the prophecy focuses on two of opposing dinasties geographically located north and south of Israel.
These are known as the Seleucid and Ptolemaic empires. The Seleucid empire produced Antiochus Epiphanes who invaded Israel and caused the first abomination of desolation and will give rise to the last “king of the north” who will be the Antichrist himself who will bring about a sudden geopolitical revival of the Seleucid empire in the future under a different political banner.
The historical Seleucid empire geographically covered what we know as the modern nations of Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan. What is never mentioned in prophecy circles is that the first capital of the Seleucid Empire was a city called Seleucia and if you haven’t guessed it, Seleucia was located in the region of Babylon in ancient Mesopotamia.
Revelation 9
This chapter talks about the angel of the bottomless pit called Abaddon and Apollyon. In Revelation 17 the beast comes out of the bottomless pit. Although empires don’t get locked in the bottomless pit, their spiritual principalities do. You can read our recent article on this subject linked below.
Later in Revelation 9, four angels or principalities that are bound in the “River Euphrates” are released. This is another reference to the region of Mesopotamia.
Revelation 13
In this chapter the beast empire has the body of a leopard, the feet of a bear and the mouth of a lion and is given a mouth that speaks blasphemies against God. These animals appear in Daniel 7 and are identified as follows:
Lion – Babylonian empire
Bear – Medo-Persian empire
Leopard – Grecian empire
The beast in Revelation 13 is the fourth terrible beast of Daniel 7 with the same 10 horns. It’s a geopolitical conglomerate of the first three empires of Daniel 7. It’s interesting to note that the beast has a mouth speaking great things against God and that mouth belongs to the lion as the beast has the mouth of a lion which represents the Babylonian empire in Daniel 7. This allusion to the lion’s mouth is giving the reader an important geographical identifier.
In Daniel 7 the little horn also has a mouth that speaks great things against God and he is the same person as the last king of the north of Daniel 11, the Seleucid empire region that started in Seleucia in Mesopotamia. The text is once again, although this time metaphorically by using the lion’s mouth imagery, pointing to the region of Babylon and Mesopotamia.
Revelation 16
“Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared. And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.” (Revelation 16:12-3)
Here we find that the River Euphrates which is located in the region of Babylon and Mesopotamia is dried up and is connected with spirts coming ou of the mouth of the beast. That is the mouth of the lion in Revelation 13 and we saw it metaphorically points to the Babylonian lion of a Daniel 7, once again alluding to the region of Mesopotamia.
When you remove the western filter that most Christians in the west use when trying to understand prophecy and start looking at the text from the perspective of ancient Israelites, it becomes clear that the biblical prophets had one specific place in mind. It’s like they were giving us the zip code of the Antichrist by placing clear literal and metaphorical geographical identifiers in the biblical text.
Cosmic Geography, Principalities and the Beast Empire of the Antichrist
I recently read The Unseen Realm by Dr. Michael Heiser. In chapter 15 he introduces the reader to the concept of “Cosmic Geography.” Heiser writes:“The Old Testament therefore describes a world where cosmic-geographical lines have been drawn. Israel was holy ground because it was Yahweh’s “inheritance,” in the language of Deuteronomy 32:8–9. The territory of other nations belonged to other elohim because Yahweh had decreed it. Psalm 82 told us that these lesser elohim were corrupt. We aren’t told how the elohim Yahweh assigned to the nations became corrupt, only that they were. It is clear from Deuteronomy 4:19–20; 17:3; 29:25; and 32:17 that these elohim were illegitimate for Israelite worship. This cosmic-geographical perspective explains several odd passages in the Bible, and provides dramatic theological backdrop to others. Some of the most startling are in the New Testament. I’ll hold those until we reach the time of Jesus and the apostles. For now I’ll illustrate the point with some short, but fascinating, examples.”
In the same chapter Dr. Heiser touches on the subject of principalities and writes:
“More pointedly, Paul’s terminology for the powers of darkness reflects the cosmic-geographical worldview arising from Deuteronomy 32:8–9. The Hebrew word for “prince” used throughout Daniel 10 is sar. In Daniel 10:13, where Michael is called “one of the chief princes,” the Septuagint refers to Michael as one of the chief archontōn. In another Greek translation of Daniel, a text many scholars consider even older than the Septuagint currently in use, the prince of Persia and Israel’s prince, Michael, are both described with the Greek word archōn. These are the terms Paul uses when describing the “rulers of this age” (1 Cor 2:6, 8), the rulers “in heavenly places” (Eph 3:10) and “the ruler of the authority of the air” (Eph 2:2). Paul often interchanged these terms with others that are familiar to most Bible students:
•“principalities” (archē)
•“powers”/“authorities” (exousia)
•“powers” (dynamis)
•“dominions”/“lords” (kyrios)
•“thrones” (thronos)
These terms have something in common—they were used in both the New Testament and other Greek literature for geographical domain rulership. This is the divine dominion concept of Deuteronomy 32:8–9. At times these terms are used of humans, but several instances demonstrate that Paul had spiritual beings in mind. The first three terms are found in Ephesians 6:12 (“Our struggle is not against blood and flesh, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places”). Paul tells us in Ephesians 1:20–21 that when God raised Jesus from the dead, “he seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion” (ESV). It was only after Christ had risen that God’s plan was “made known … to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places” (Eph 3:10). These cosmic forces are “the rulers and the authorities” disarmed and put to shame by the cross (Col 2:15).”
The purpose of this article is to bridge the gap between Dr. Heiser’s concept of Cosmic Geography and the principalities that rule over certain geographic areas with the coming empire of the beast and its emperor, the Antichrist.
In my book The Coming Bible Prophecy Reformation I discussed how the 7 mountains that represent the 7 heads of the beast represent 7 world empires of biblical history and end time prophecy.
And here [is] the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.They are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; but when he does come, he must remain for only a little while. (Revelation 17:9-10)
We identified these seven kings and kingdoms as follows:
1- Egypt
2- Assyria
3- Babylon
4- Medo-Persia
5- Greece
These are the 5 that had fallen by the time of the writing of Revelation.
6- Rome
This is the “one is” or the one that exists during the time of the writing of Revelation.
7- Arab/Islamic expansion which culminated with the Ottoman Empire.
The text in Revelation continues:
The beast who once was, and now is not, is an eighth king. He belongs to the seven and is going to his destruction. (Revelation 17:11)
In other words, the empire that once existed prior to the time of the writing of Revelation “now is not”, no longer exists as a ruling empire and must come back to life as the eighth empire and is one of the seven. It must be one of the first five that had fallen during the time of Revelation.
I my book I identified either Assyria or Babylon as the kingdom or empire that must return as one of the five that had fallen to become the 8th and final empire. It is also possible that it could be a combination of the two since both Assyria and Babylon are located in the same geographic area and each of those empires covered the same basic territory during their rule.
One thing I did not cover in the book is the concept of Cosmic Geography and spiritual rulers or principalities as introduced by Dr. Michael Heiser in The Unseen Realm. I highly recommend reading his book for a more in-depth understanding of these concepts. My intention in this article is to make a connection between the geography of the final empire of prophecy and its spiritual ruler who operates behind the scene.
In Revelation we read something intriguing:
“The beast that you saw was, and is not, and will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go to perdition” (Revelation 17:8)
We identified the beast as one of the first five empires that existed before the writing of the book of Revelation. The problem is that empires are not imprisoned in the bottomless pit. They just cease to exist as political powers but the geography continues to exist. What the text is saying is that the principality or spiritual entity behind that empire was apparently removed from power and put in some kind of prison.
Compare the verses below that mention the bottomless pit.
What we learn from these passages is that an angel or as Michael Heiser puts it, a lesser Elohim, spiritual power or principality that was assigned or allotted a specific geographic region is also called a king named Abaddon and Apollyon.
The final beast has seven heads which represent 7 mountains. Mountains in prophecy are symbolic of kingdoms or empires. In Jeremiah 51:24-25 the kingdom or empire of Babylon is compared to a “destroying mountain” and in Daniel 2 we learn that the kingdom of the Messiah is compared to a mountain that covers the whole earth.
The text in Revelation 17 says that the seven heads of the beast also represent 7 kings. Although kingdoms have human kings, the bottomless pit passages seem to suggest that the 7 kings are also principalities or spiritual powers that rule over cosmic geography. That is exactly what we learn in Daniel 10. Daniel had been praying and when the angel Gabriel came to visit him, he told Daniel that he had to fight the princes or principalities of the kingdoms and Persian and Grecia and that he needed help from Michael, the chief prince or principality in heavenly places to fight those principalities.
We learn from Revelation 13 that Satan who is the red dragon gives the beast his power and great authority. The beast comes from the bottomless pit in Revelation 17:8. The king Abaddon in Revelation 9 is the angel of the bottomless pit. Is it possible that the angel of the bottomless pit who is also referred to as a “king” is the principality behind the eighth king who ascends of the bottomless pit in Revelation 17:8?
Is Revelation 13 saying that Satan is giving his power and authority to another principality, the angel of the bottomless pit? Remember the angel that fell from heaven and had the keys to the bottomless pit in Revelation 9:1? That angel is likely a reference to Satan himself. Jesus said he saw Satan fall from heaven in Luke 10:18 and Satan gets cast out of heaven in Revelation 12:7-9.
Revelation 9 also connects the angel who is the king of the bottomless pit where the beast will ascend from with a specific geographical area:
“Then the sixth angel sounded: And I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill a third of mankind.” (Revelation 9:13-15)
The principality Abaddon who is the king of the bottomless pit appears in the same context of other imprisoned principalities or angels who are bound at the great River Euphrates. The Cosmic Geography here is clear: the text is zeroing in on Mesopotamia, the general area of ancient Assyria and Babylon.
Let’s assume that Satan is giving his power and authority to a lesser principality known as the angel of the bottomless pit who ascends as the eighth king in Revelation 17:8 and who is geographically associated with the Mesopotamian region of the river Euphrates. We also know that the Antichrist is a man who does not worship the gods of his ancestors but instead honors a strange (foreign of a land outside Israel) god or principality called the god of fortresses in Daniel 11:36-38.
What we have here is Satan giving his power and authority to a lesser principality called the angel of the bottomless pit who ascends as the eighth king and who in turn gives his power to a human being who honors this principality. This principality’s name is Abaddon and Apollyon which mean “destruction” and “destroyer.” The human king who honors this principality of destruction who gets his power and authority from Satan comes to be the destroyer of the holy people as we read in Daniel:
Satan empowers the angel of the bottomless pit Abaddon/Apollyon who in turn empowers a human ruler to persecute and destroy powerful nations and the holy people, Israel. you might wonder why Satan would empower a lesser principality below him in rank instead of dealing with the human ruler directly instead.
We know from the passage of Christ’s temptation in the wilderness that Satan claimed ownership of all the kingdoms of the world and would give it to whomever he wishes:
“Then the devil, taking Him (Jesus) up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.6 And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. (Luke 4:5-6)
This implies that Satan can give all his authority to a lesser principality if he so desires. Complete authority over all the kingdoms of the world was delivered to him but scripture also shows that each of these kingdoms have lesser principalities exercising dominion over them as seen in Daniel 10 as the angel Gabriel contends with two distinct principalities, one who rules over the kingdom of Persia and another who rules over the kingdoms of Grecia.
Michael Heiser shows in The Unseen Realm how God disinherited the nations after the Tower of Babel event and allotted them to the “sons of God” who are divine beings who have dominion over specific geographic regions, hence the term “Cosmic Geography.” God kept Jacob (Israel) as His portion and inheritance, both the people and land, but the rest of the nations God assigned to the “angels of God” according to the Septuagint.
“When the Most High divided the nations, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the nations according to the number of the angels of God. And his people Jacob became the portion of the Lord, Israel was the line of his inheritance.” (Deuteronomy 32:8-9 LXX)
In other words, God rules over Israel specifically while other nations are ruled by angels or principalities who later became corrupt and they themselves are under the authority of Satan, the supreme ruler over all the kingdoms of the world.
What we have is a chain of command of high ranking spiritual powers. Satan was given authority over all the kingdoms of the world but he assigns authority over each kingdom or empire to lower ranking principalities.
Satan rules supremely over all the 8 empires of biblical history and prophecy but he has each of his lower ranking principalities ruling over a specific kingdom and geographic region. The angel Abaddon who is the king of the bottomless pit who ascends as the eighth of the seven kings represented by the seven mountains as one “who was” and “ now is not” or “existed in the past” but “no longer exists ” is geographically associated with the region of the river Euphrates. This is the region of Mesopotamia and thus Abaddon was the principality associated with the region of Assyria and Babylon which encompasses the modern nations of Iraq, Syria and parts of Turkey.
We have extensively written on this blog how Isaiah 13 and 14 pertain to future events concerning the future rise of Babylon as the capital of the final empire of prophecy. We have written about how the king of Babylon in Isaiah 14:4 who is also called the “Assyrian” in Isaiah 14:25 will be the little horn of Daniel 7, 8 and 11 who rises as the last ruler of the geographic region that was under the dominion of the Seleucid division of the Grecian empire which again, encompasses the modern nations of Iraq, Syria and parts of Turkey.
We have also written how the Hebrew word “Heylel” translated “Lucifer” in Isaiah 14:12 is cognate with the Arabic word “Hilal” which translates as “crescent moon” and how the national religion (Islam) of the modern nations of the Mesopotamian region of the river Euphrates (Iraq, Syria and parts of Turkey) is the spiritual force behind the rise of the Antichrist.
Recall that the principality that ruled over and will rule again as the eighth king of the Mesopotamian region of the river Euphrates is called Abaddon in Hebrew meaning “destroyer” and Apollyon in Greek meaning “destruction.” One of the 99 names of Allah, the god of Islam, is “Al-Mumit.”
The meaning of Al-Mumit is “The Destroyer, The Bringer of Death”
Who have we heard in recent times say “death to America”, “death to Israel” and “death to infidels”? These are calls for the destruction (Apollyon) of Judeo-Christian civilization by the destroyer (Abaddon) by the god of Islam known as the “destroyer” and “bringer of death.” The prophet Daniel makes the nature of the coming end times ruler easy to understand and identify:
“And in the latter time of their kingdom,
When the transgressors have reached their fullness,
A king shall arise,
Having fierce features,
Who understands sinister schemes. His power shall be mighty, but not by his own power;
He shall destroy fearfully,
And shall prosper and thrive;
He shall destroy the mighty, and also the holy people. Through his cunning
He shall cause deceit to prosper under his rule;
And he shall exalt himself in his heart.
He shall destroy many in theirprosperity.
He shall even rise against the Prince of princes;
But he shall be broken without human means.” (Daniel 8:23-25)
“Then the king shall do according to his own will: he shall exalt and magnify himself above every god, shall speak blasphemies against the God of gods (Yahweh), and shall prosper till the wrath has been accomplished; for what has been determined shall be done. He shall regard neither the gods of his fathers nor the desire of women, nor regard any god; for he shall exalt himself above them all. But in their place he shall honor a god of fortresses; and a god (principality of destruction) which his fathers did not know he shall honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and pleasant things. Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses (by means of destruction) with a foreign god (a principality that rules outside the confines of Israel) , which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain.” (Daniel 11:36-39)
The Progress of Babylon’s Restoration

One section in particular caught my attention:
“The team hopes there will be an official reopening for the temple this autumn, after which it will be available for gatherings such as weddings and concerts, as well as for the Babylon Festival, a celebration of international cultures that takes place every spring.”
This immediately brought to mind what we read in Revelation 18:
“And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, (concerts) shall be heard no more at all in thee…And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride (weddings) shall be heard no more at all in thee” (Revelation 18:22-23)

Psalm 2 and Islam’s Denial of Christ as the Son of God
Why do the [Islamic} nations rage,
And the [Muslim] people plot a vain thing? The kings of the [Middle East portion of the] earth set themselves,
And the rulers take counsel together,
Against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying, “Let us break Their bonds in pieces
And cast away Their cords from us.”
4 He who sits in the heavens shall laugh;
The Lord shall hold them in derision. Then He shall speak to them in His wrath,
And distress them in His deep displeasure: “Yet I have set My King [Yeshuah the Messiah- Isa Al-Masih- Jesus the Christ]
On My holy hill of Zion.” [Jerusalem- Al-Quds-Bayt Al-Maqids]
“I will declare the decree:
The LORD has said to Me,
‘You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You. Ask of Me, and I will give You
The [islamic] nations for Your inheritance,
And the ends of the earth for Your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron;
You shall dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel.’ ” (Psalm 2:1-9)
Psalm 2 is addressing a specific group of people and nations, the nations that surround “Mount Zion” and want to completely dominate it. These nations specifically conspire together for one single purpose which is to deny that God has begotten a son:
Yet I have set My King
On My holy hill of Zion (Jerusalem, Al-Quds).”
7 “I will declare the decree:
The LORD [God] has said to Me,
‘You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You. (Psalm 2:6)
Now let’s compare to what the Quran has to say about God having begotten a son:

And they say, “God has begotten a son.” Be He glorified. Rather, His is everything in the heavens and the earth; all are obedient to Him.
[17:111]
And say, “Praise be to God, who has not begotten a son, nor has He a partner in sovereignty, nor has He an ally out of weakness, and glorify Him constantly.”
[18:4]
And to warn those who say, “God has begotten a son.”
[19:88]
And they say, “The Most Merciful has begotten a son.”

God has never begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Otherwise, each god would have taken away what it has created, and some of them would have gained supremacy over others. Glory be to God, far beyond what they describe.

“God has begotten.” They are indeed lying.

God has a strong warning for all Islamic nations as the last days approach:
Now therefore, be wise, O [Muslim] kings;
Be instructed, you judges [of Sharia law] of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear,
And rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry,
And you perish in the way,
When His wrath is kindled but a little.
Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him. (Psalm 2:10-12)
The Euphrates is Drying Up

Large sections of the Euphrates River in the district of Kifl, south of Babil province, have dried to the point where people can cross on foot, leaving nearby farmland devastated.
Aerial images obtained by Shafaq News reveal vast stretches of exposed riverbed, the result of a sharp decline in water levels. Local farmers said orchards of figs and date palms have withered, while surviving livestock now face severe water shortages.
“The remaining water is not enough to irrigate our crops,” residents told Shafaq News, appealing to both local and federal authorities for emergency measures to protect their land and herds.

Mushussu: The Babylonian Dragon-like Serpent and the End Times
The mušḫuššu (sometimes spelled mushussu, mushkhushshu, or sirrušu) is a mythical creature from ancient Mesopotamian mythology, especially Babylonian tradition.
Here’s what we know about it:
Appearance: The mušḫuššu is a hybrid beast with: The body and neck of a dragon-like serpent, The forelegs of a lion, The hind legs of an eagle or bird of prey, A long tail and horned, scaly head with a snake-like tongue. Role in Mythology: It was considered the sacred animal of Marduk, the chief god of Babylon, and later associated with Nabu, the god of wisdom. In myth, the creature often serves as a guardian or divine servant. Famous Depictions: The most famous images of the mušḫuššu appear on the Ishtar Gate of Babylon (6th century BC, under Nebuchadnezzar II).
Rows of brightly glazed tiles show these creatures alongside lions and bulls, symbolizing the gods they were tied to.
Clay tablets and cylinder seals also depict it in association with deities. Meaning of the Name: In Akkadian, mušḫuššu roughly means “fierce serpent” or “splendid serpent.”
It’s basically the Mesopotamian “dragon,” a divine hybrid guardian rather than a chaotic monster.
The mušḫuššu (𒈲𒍽; formerly also read as sirrušu or sirrush) or mushkhushshu(Akkadian pronunciation: [muʃˈχuʃ.ʃum]) is a creature from ancient Mesopotamian mythology.
A mythological hybrid, it is a scaly animal with hind legs resembling the talons of an eagle, lion-like forelimbs, a long neck and tail, two horns on its head, a snake-like tongue, and a crest. The mušḫuššu most famously appears on the Ishtar Gate of the city of Babylon, dating to the sixth century BC.
The form mušḫuššu is the Akkadian nominative of Sumerian: 𒈲𒍽MUŠ.ḪUŠ, ‘reddish snake’, sometimes also translated as ‘fierce snake’. One author, possibly following others, translates it as ‘splendour serpent’ (𒈲 MUŠ is the Sumerian term for ‘serpent’). Notice we inserted the name Musshussu with question marks in the text of Revelation as an attempt to identity Mushussu with the serpent and dragon of the prophetic text in Revelation.
Could it be Revelation is referring to the old Babylonian dragon-like serpent? Could it also be that the text is subtly pointing to the geographical location of the final beast empire of the end times who is given power and authority by the dragon who is Satan himself?

It’s interesting to note that if you remove Trump and Netanyahu from the photo, you end up with 10 leaders. Could these be the 10 kings Daniel 7 and Revelation 13 refer to? If they are the 10 kings (although I tend to believe the 10 kings must be divided into to camps—Sunni & Shiite), we must watch for the 11th, the little horn who will be the Antichrist himself to show up soon after this alliance is in place.

God’s Clock and the Final Seconds of History
The two verses above imply that God has a divine clock in which He uses a 24 hour period as symbolic of a thousand years. If the hour hand on a clock ticking for 12 hours twice a day represents a thousand years, then the minute hand represents centuries and the second hand represents decades.
Israel as God’s Alarm Clock
“Come, and let us return to the LORD;
For He has torn, but He will heal us;
He has stricken, but He will bind us up.2 After two days He will revive us;
On the third day He will raise us up,
That we may live in His sight.” (Hosea 6:1-2)
This passage in Hosea is interpreted by many as God punishing Israel for two days (two thousand years) and raising Israel on the third day (beginning of the third millennium after Israel’s removal from the Holy Land).
From 70 AD to 1948, Israel did not exist as a nation. That would be 1,878 years. In God’s clock, that would be equivalent to roughly 1 day and 9 hours. We are now in 2025 which in God’s clock would be two days plus twenty five seconds into the third day as the second hand on the clock represents decades.
God would raise Israel up on the third day if that is indeed what Hosea 6:1-2 had in mind. With that being said, we have literally entered the beginning of the third day and all we have left is a few seconds (decades in human time) until the end of the age.
We know from Daniel 9:24-27 that Israel, particularly the city of Jerusalem still has a period of seven years of testing with the second half of those seven years being a time of great sorrow.
Since the second hand on God’s clock represents decades, the seventieth week of Daniel represents the last and final second of history before the return of Jesus Christ.
With that being said, we can conclude that we have entered the beginning of the third day or third millennium since Israel’s diaspora which officially started in 70 AD. We have entered the final seconds (decades) of history before the time of the end.
That does not mean that that prophetic fulfillment will find its final fulfillment next year or the year after as each year in God’s clock would be counted as a “centisecond” and we can’t force prophecy to be fulfilled according to our human timelines.
If for example, the seventieth week of Daniel starts in the year 2050 which to us is 25 years into the future, on God’s clock 25 years is just 2.5 seconds since the second hand on God’s clock represents decades with each decade representing ten seconds, each year representing a centisecond and each month representing a millisecond.
In fact, we can assume that the year 2100 is still considered just the beginning of the third day as in God’s clock it would be 2 two days and 1 minute with the first 100 years of the second millennium being just the first minute of the third day (millennium) , therefore even if the seventieth week of Daniel starts around the year 2100, on God’s clock that would be counted as just the first minute of the third day.
Many have been predicting that we have already entered the tribulation and that Christ will return by the years 2028, 2030 and 2032. Although I confess that I would love for that to happen and I hope it does happen, we have to be careful not to be so confident in setting dates that may set us up for a massive disappointment.
There are some specifics things that I believe must happen before the seventieth week of Daniel can officially start and one of them is the rise of literal Babylon in the nation known as Iraq as both a commercial center and the temporary political capital of the Antichrist who is Israel’s future and final archenemy.
I’m aware that many reject this idea and that given the current situation in Iraq, it may sound like an impossibility but that is what many said about Israel returning to the land decades before 1948, yet God was true to His word and Israel became a nation despite the unbelief of many.
After several decades of war, bloodshed and destruction, it appears that Iraq is on its way to become a trade hub in the Middle East with the construction of the Al-Faw Grand Port which is set to be the largest port in the Middle East after its completion. It promises to generate billions of dollars in revenue each year paving the way for Iraq to become one of the wealthiest nations in the Middle East and a power broker in the region.
Although this can be several years (centiseconds on God’s clock) away from becoming reality, it will likely pave the way for the rebuilding of Babylon as a mega city and revive the Babylonian empire which in my humble and unimportant opinion will be the empire of the beast under the Antichrist.

In the meantime, we can hope that Jesus Christ returns rather sooner than later but we must also be aware of God’s clock and that if it takes another 75 years for Jesus Christ to return, on God’s clock that is only 75 centiseconds. 7.5 decades on God’s God’s clock is just 7.5 seconds.
Iraq, The Al-Faw Port and Babylon the Great
The dream of all wealthy merchants, shipping companies and heads of state or “kings of the earth” mentioned in Revelation 18 is becoming reality and it’s happening in southern Iraq where the country of Babylonia and the city of Babylon once existed.
Although Al-Faw is about 340 miles from the Babylon governorate where the ancient city of Babylon is located, it is part of greater Babylon or the country called Babylonia which reached the Persian Gulf where Al-Faw is situated as seen on the image below.

Although the port itself cannot be the fulfillment of prophecy concerning Babylon, it will generate enough revenue to turn Iraq into a wealthy and powerful nation opening the door for the rebuilding of the city of Babylon and the return of the country of Babylonia as a major trade hub and world power in the end times.
The Antichrist will be the future king of this new Babylon. When God calls this city “Babylon the Great”, He is not referring to size but to political, financial, logistical and commercial. influence. This influence will be so massive that heads of state and businessmen of the shipping and oil industries will literally cry and fall into despair when they witness Babylon’s future and final destruction.

For in one hour your judgment has come.’ “And the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her, for no one buys their merchandise anymore: “merchandise of gold and silver, precious stones and pearls, fine linen and purple, silk and scarlet, every kind of citron wood, every kind of object of ivory, every kind of object of most precious wood, bronze, iron, and marble; “and cinnamon and incense, fragrant oil and frankincense, wine and oil, fine flour and wheat, cattle and sheep, horses and chariots, and bodies and souls of men. “The fruit that your soul longed for has gone from you, and all the things which are rich and splendid have gone from you, and you shall find them no more at all. “The merchants of these things, who became rich by her, will stand at a distance for fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, “and saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city that was clothed in fine linen, purple, and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls! ‘For in one hour such great riches came to nothing.’ Every shipmaster, all who travel by ship, sailors, and as many as trade on the sea, stood at a distance “and cried out when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, ‘What is like this great city?’ “They threw dust on their heads and cried out, weeping and wailing, and saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city, in which all who had ships on the sea became rich by her wealth! For in one hour she is made desolate.” (Revelation 18:9-20)
Many will probably dismiss the connection between the Al-Faw port and Babylon the Great which must be a major center of shipping and commerce according to Revelation 18 besides being the headquarters of the Antichrist before he moves his capital to Jerusalem. We have always believed and written that Babylon must rise in its original location and the idea that Rome, America or Saudi Arabia are what Bible Prophecy was referring to will start losing traction in the years ahead as events in Iraq start to unfold. God says what He means and means what He says.
Allah The Great Imitator: “I Will be Like the Most High”
Isaiah 13 and 14 talk about the future destruction of Babylon and the fall of its king who will be the last days opressor of Israel. One of the key characteristics of the king of Babylon is his attempt to imitate the Most High God by exalting himself and his false god when he makes the following statement in Isaiah 14:14:
“I WILL BE LIKE THE MOST HIGH.”
This statement is followed by several other statements made by this end times ruler. They are:
“I will ascend into heaven”
“I will exalt my throne above the stars of God”
“I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north”
“I will ascend above the heights of the clouds.”
Most commentators believe this passage is a reference to Satan trying to usurp the place of God but when read in context, the passage is primarily about a literal geographical place on earth that is ruled by a human being. This place is referred to in Isaiah 13:19 as “Babylon, the beauty of the Chaldean’s pride” and its ruler is referred to in Isaiah 14:4 as the “king of Babylon” and in Isaiah 14:16 as the “man” who “made the earth tremble”, who “shook kingdoms”, who made the “world a wilderness” and who “destroyed cities.” This ruler is later called the “Assyrian” in Isaiah 14:25.
This is not a spiritual being, it’s a literal human being who is the ruler of a future empire to be centered in the land of the Chaldeans, the same place where Abram later called Abraham was called from by God in Genesis 15:7. This is the land we know today as Iraq.
For all those who have completely ignored the literal geographic and human aspects of this passage and have primarily considered it to be a reference to Satan based on the questionable use of the word “Lucifer” in Isaiah 14:12, I refer you to my article titled Forget Lucifer: Isaiah 14 is about Islam and Muhammed linked below.

I strongly encourage you to read the two articles above before proceeding so this can make sense. Don’t get me wrong. Satan (the red dragon) is the spiritual power behind all of this as seen in Revelation 13 but we can’t ignore the literal human and geographical aspects of this prophecy and try to spiritualize it a many have done.
The first way the king of Babylon tries to imitate God is by “ascending to heaven.” Given to fact that this king of Babylon is connected to the crescent moon symbol of Islam and his geographic territory of Babylon/Chaldea/Iraq has Islam for its national religion, we can conclude he will follow in the footsteps of Muhammed who is believed by Muslims to have ascended to heaven from Jerusalem.
“The night journey and ascension of the [false] Prophet Muhammad was a miraculous occurrence during which he travelled from Makkah (Mecca) to Masjid Al-Aqsa in Jerusalem before ascending to heaven, all in one night. Isra’ is the night journey from Makka to Masjid Al-Aqsa. Mi’raj is the journey from Masjid Al-Aqsa to the heavens.”
This is pure jealousy and a delusional attempt to make Muslims believe that Muhammed was able to imitate the ascension of Jesus Christ to heaven as recorded by eyewitnesses in Acts 1:9-11.
The future king of Babylon will be the final sucessor of Muhammed and when read in context, the ascension to heaven might have more of a symbolic meaning rather than literal due to the fact that this king of Babylon says he will “ascend above the heights of the clouds” and “exalt his throne above the stars of God” (the sons of Jacob (Israel) are stars (Gen 37:9) and he accomplishes that specifically by sitting on the “the Mount of the Congregation on the sides of the North.”
The Mount of the Congregation on the sides of the north is a direct reference to Mount Zion also known as the Temple Mount in Jerusalem in Psalm 48:2 and alluded to in Isaiah 14:13. The idea here is that the future king of Babylon will have a temple or shrine erected to the name of his crescent moon deity the same way the Most High God had two temples erected to His name in the past. This means that the king of Babylon will symbolically ascend to heaven by invading the Temple Mount in Jerusalem where two Israelite temples have existed and those temples were earthly representations of the heavenly temple as seen in Revelation.
When Paul says in 2 Thessalonians 2 that the man of sin will sit in the temple of God and declare that he is god (be like the most high), Paul was referring to Isaiah 14:12-15. Daniel 11:36-38 also says that the Antichrist will exalt himself above the God of gods while honoring a god of war that is strange or foreign to ancient Israel.
The fact that the Temple Mount has two Islamic shrines is no accident or coincidence. Those Islamic structures play a major role in the fulfillment of prophecy in the end times. The imitator wants to exalt himself above God and part of being like the Most High is having temples or shrines of his religion and false god standing on the exact same place where God had His temple.
Another way the imitator wants to be like the Most High is by using an ethnic group of people for his evil purposes. God chose the seed of Abraham through Isaac to be His representatives on earth. The imitator imitates God by also choosing the seed of Abraham through Ishmael first and foremost to imitate God and secondly, to oppose God and His representatives. The Arab-Israeli conflict is not an accident of history. It’s a carefully orchestrated evil plan to oppose God and His kingdom.
The imitator also demands that his followers have the mark and name of the false god of his religious empire on their right arm or forehead just like 144,000 Israelites have their father’s (Yahweh) name on their foreheads.
“Then I looked, and behold, a lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father’s name written on their foreheads.” (Revelation 14:1)
“He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” (Revelation 13:16-17)
It is also interesting to note that Shia Muslims are waiting for the reappearance of the 12th imam known as Muhammed Al-Mahdi. He will be the last of a total of 12 spiritual and political successors of Muhammed. Why 12? Why not 10, 11 or 13?
In Revelation 21:12-14 we read that the New Jerusalem has 12 gates with the names of the 12 tribes of Israel and has twelve foundations with the names of the 12 Apostles of Christ. The 12th Imam will supposedly conquer earthly Jerusalem for Islam according to Shia end time beliefs. Is this all a coincidence or another carefully orchestrated plan of the imitator to have 12 representatives just like Jesus had 12 apostles or emissaries? Are you following the real God or the imitator? Your eternal destiny depends on your choice.

When Two Mysterious Prophecies Come Togtether in One Image
“Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. . . He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. . . He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.” (Revelation 13:11, 13,15)
When I wrote the book The Coming Bible Prophecy Reformation in 2009-10 (published in 2014 ), I conjectured that the speaking image of the beast is likely a reference to the adhan or Islamic call to prayer that comes out of loudspeakers placed on minarets which are towers built on or next to Islamic Mosques. I also wrote an article in 2017 titled “Iraq, the False Prophet and Missiles” in which I conjectured that the fire that comes down from heaven by the second beast in Revelation is possibly a reference to ballistic missiles fired by the false prophet. This idea came to my mind by connecting the fire in Revelation 13 to the fire in Zechariah 5 which according to Dr. Stephen Pidgeon’s translation known as the Eth Cepher Bible, is possibly a reference to ballistic missiles housed in the land of Shinar known today as Iraq.

We saw the text in Revelation 13 says that the second beast causes fire to come down from heaven and that he is also able to give breath to the image of the beast so the image can speak. Once we have established that the first beast with 7 heads and 10 horns is a revival of an Islamic empire in the Middle East instead of a revived Roman Empire in Europe, the mysterious prophecies of the fire coming down from heaven and the image of the beast being able to speak (the image being the Islamic crescent and star on minarets producing the adhan call to prayer) became easier to unlock and understand. It all made sense to me.
Some might say I’m delusional and that I see things that others can’t see in any way, shape or form but once it becomes clear that the empire of the beast in Revelation is Middle Eastern and Islamic in nature, many pieces start to fall into place. Islam is a religion of war and promotes of god of war who demands that Muslims conquer lands for Allah by the sword. Missiles and rockets have become the modern sword used by Islam when Jihad or holy war is waged by radical Muslims.
Muslims also bow down 5 times a day to the sound of a tower with modern loudspkears whose call to prayer speaks words of blasphemy against the God of the Bible and His Son Jesus Christ such as “There is no god but Allah and Mohammed is his messenger.”
A few days ago I was reading headlines from Press TV, an Iranian web site, when suddenly I came across the image below.
It was like seeing the two major characteristics of the false prophet (besides enforcing the mark of the beast) in Revelation 13. The two mysterious prophecies of the fire from heaven (Islam’s modern sword) and the image of the beast (crescent and star of Islam) being able to speak via the adhan or call to prayer sound produced by loudspeakers on Islamic minarets were both photographed together side by side.
Again, some might say I’m delusional but what if we are witnessing prophecy unfold in front of our eyes and many are asleep because they have been expecting some European empire to rise and become the beast that will seek to destroy Israel when the real thing is already here and already doing the very things the author of the book of Revelation prophesied two thousand years ago using an ancient and limited vocabulary to describe events he did not understand?
Imagine the apostle John being taken in the spirit two thousand years in the future and seeing entire populations of different nations bowing down and worshiping before a tower with a crescent and star symbol producing a loud speaking sound that could be heard from miles away with people being killed by beheading as seen in Revelation 20:4 for refusing to bow down and worship at the sound of the Islamic call to prayer. How would he describe that?
Imagine him seeing the leader of this religious empire firing missiles against Israel and his Arab enemies during his regional military conquests in the name of Allah? How would he describe that?
I think many will be caught off guard for not considering what is already taking place in the Middle East and the faith of many Christian in the west will fall apart when all hell finally breaks loose. Lord help us!
What is Next for Gaza: Pastureland?
Gaza has been utterly destroyed. It has become uninhabitable and Bible prophecy not only foretold the destruction of a Gaza and the removal of its inhabitants, it also foretold what its future will be. The prophet Zephaniah foretold Gaza will become pastureland for grazing animals.
For Gaza shall be forsaken,
And Ashkelon desolate;
They shall drive out Ashdod at noonday,
And Ekron shall be uprooted. Woe to the inhabitants of the seacoast,
The nation of the Cherethites!
The word of the LORD is against you,
O Canaan, land of the Philistines:
“I will destroy you;
So there shall be no inhabitant.”
6 The seacoast shall be pastures,
With shelters for shepherds and folds for flocks. The coast shall be for the remnant of the house of Judah;
They shall feed their flocks there;
In the houses of Ashkelon they shall lie down at evening.
For the LORD their God will intervene for them,
And return their captives. (Zephaniah 2:4-7)
Below is a map of Philistia, the land of the biblical Philistines. Notice Gaza and the other cities mentioned in Zephaniah 2. Ekron, Ashdod and Ashkelon already belong to Israel. Gaza is all that is left to be conquered and become Pastureland if the prophecy of Zephaniah is to be fullfiled in modern times.
US President Donald Trump recently announced he wants to relocate the Palestinians and rebuild Gaza but apparently God has other plans for Gaza. Zephaniah said that after its destruction, the seacoast region of the land of the Philistines will become pastureland for animals and shepherds. In other words, it shall become a cattle ranch for the “remnants of the house of Judah” or modern day Jews living in Israel. Will that really be the case? Only time will tell. Although this prophecy might have had an immediate fulfillment during the days of the ancient Philistines who lived in Gaza, the law of double reference present in prophetic scriptures suggests that a final and future fulfillment during the days ahead is possible.

In our previous articles titled “Forget Lucifer: Isaiah 14 is About Islam and Muhammed” and “Heylel, Son of the Dawn, Allah, Lord of the Dawn” we explored how the Hebrew word “Heylel” often translated as “Lucifer” or “morning star” is etymologically linked to the Arabic word “Hilal” which translates as “crescent moon.”
Below is a screenshot of the etymology for Hilal and how it’s is cognate (has the same linguistic roots) as the Hebrew word “Halal” which is the root of the word “Heylel” in Isaiah 14:12.
We also explored in one of those articles how Isaiah 13 & 14 are about the future destruction of Babylon and it’s ruler who will be the Antichrist himself who shall rise in the Middle East as a radical Islamic leader.
Today I decided to check Arabic translations of Isaiah. I copied the text of Isaiah 14:12 in Arabic and pasted it to Google Translate and I was shocked to discover that the word “Hilal” is in fact used to describe what we know in English as “Lucifer” and “morning star.” Though I was shocked with that finding, I was not surprised a bit that the word would be translated as “crescent” on Google Translate.”

كَيْفَ سَقَطْتَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ، يَا هِلَالَ الفَجْرِ. كَيْفَ أُسقِطتَ إلَى الأرْضِ، يَا هَازِمَ الأُمَمِ؟
This leaves no doubt in my mind that Islam’s rise as a system was foretold centuries in advance when Isaiah was prophesying the future destruction of Babylon, the fall of the king of a Babylon and the “crescent of the dawn” being the dark spiritual force behind Babylon and its ruler.
Other translations in Arabic removed the word “Hilal” and replaced it with two distinct words. One translation used the Arabic phrase “zahrat bint alsubha” which translates as “ O flower, son of the morning.” Another translation used the phrase “ya zuharatu, bint alsubhi” which translates as “O Venus, son of the morning.”
The Easy to Read Version linked above uses the phrase “ya hilal alfajri” which translates as “O crescent of the dawn.” I don’t know what caused these discrepancies in translations but one can suspect that Muslim authorities in Arab countries would not allow the word Hilal for crescent moon, the official symbol of Islam, to be used and published so the identity of Islam would not be associated with the evil system of Babylon and its ruler in Isaiah 14.
Given the fact that the Arabic word Hilal is cognate with the Hebrew word Halal which is the root word of Heylel, I think it’s safe to assume that the Easy to Read Translation of the Arabic Bible got it right.

Former Caliphate Capitals: Turkey Isn’t The Only Option
Many students of Bible Prophecy who believe in the Middle Eastern End Time Paradigm expect a coming Islamic Caliphate to be the last empire of Bible Prophecy. The last major Caliphate to exist in history before the rise of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria established a short lived caliphate was the Turkish Ottoman Caliphate which existed for a little more than 400 years between 1517 and 1924 and many prophecy buffs expect the Ottoman Empire to rise from the dead to become the empire of the beast in Revelation 13.
What most students of prophecy don’t consider is the fact that three other major caliphates existed before the Ottoman caliphate whose capital was Constantinople know today as the city of Istanbul in Turkey.
The first major Caliphate was the Rashidun Caliphate which consisted of the first four successive caliphs (lit. ’successors’) — Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, and Ali, collectively known as the Rashidun, or “Rightly Guided” caliphs.
The Rashindun Caliphate had two capitals. The first was Medina in Saudi Arabia from 632 to 656 AD. In 656 Kufa in modern day Iraq became the capital until 661 AD.
The second major Caliphate was the Umayyad Caliphate and its first capital was in a Damascus, Syria from 661 to 744 AD when Harran, a province located near the border of modern Turkey and Syria became the capital for 6 years until 750 AD.
The third major Caliphate was the Abbasid Caliphate. It was founded by a dynasty descended from Muhammad’s uncle, Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (566–653 AD), from whom the dynasty takes its name. They ruled as caliphs for most of the caliphate from their capital in Baghdad in modern-day Iraq, after having overthrown the Umayyad Caliphate in the Abbasid Revolution of 750 AD.
Kufa, a city in Iraq located 110 miles south of Baghdad was the first capital of the Abbasids from 750 to 762 AD when they decided to make Baghdad the capital until 1258 AD with Samarra in Iraq (where the twelfth Imam of Shia Islam was born) being the capital between 836 and 892 AD. Cairo in Egypt became the place of residence of the Abbasids from 1261 to 1517 AD after the fall of Baghdad to the Mongol Empire.
Ethnically speaking, the Antichrist cannot be Turkish
Daniel 9 says the Antichrist must come from the people that destroyed the city of Jerusalem and the second Jewish temple in 70 AD. The Roman legions Fretensis, Fulminata, Macedônica and Appolinaris responsible for destroying the temple were stationed in Syrian and Egyptian provinces of the Roman Empire and recruited ethnic Assyrians and Arabs as soldiers. This is all documented in chapter 6 of our book The Coming Bible Prophecy Reformation.
Although I partially believed ethnic Turks might have been present in the Roman army during the writing of the book in 2010, I recently found out that this was not possible. It’s a well known fact of history that ethnic Turks originated in Central Asia to the north and east or Iran and did not begin to settle in Anatolia – modern Turkey – known in Roman and Bible times as Asia Minor until the 11th century AD, more than a thousand years after the destruction of Jerusalem and the Jewish temple by the Romans in 70 AD. According to Britannica, Turks began arriving in Anatolia in the 11th century through the conquests of the Seljuk Turks, which significantly transformed the region from largely Greek-speaking to Turkish Muslim.
A quick Google search on when ethnic Turks arrived in Anatolia reveals the following:
Turks from Central Asia began settling in Anatolia in the 11th century. This migration led to the establishment of the first Turkish Empire in Anatolia, the Seljuk Sultanate of Rum.
Explanation
- The Seljuk Turks were mercenaries who worked for local Persian and Arab rulers.
- The Seljuk Turks defeated the Byzantines at the Battle of Manzikert in 1071.
- The Seljuk Turks established the Anatolian Seljuk State, which lasted from 1075–1318.
- The Seljuk Turks left behind a rich cultural legacy, including mosques, madrasahs, hospitals, and fortresses.
- The Seljuk Turks started a process of Turkification in Anatolia, which gradually changed the region’s population from Greek-speaking and Christian to Turkish-speaking and Muslim.
- The Seljuk Sultanate was defeated by the Mongols at the Battle of Köse Dağ in 1243 and disappeared by the beginning of the 14th century.
With that being said, the Antichrist must be of Assyrian or Arab ethnicity, not Turkish, therefore the idea of a coming Islamic caliphate that will fulfill Bible prophecy must rise in Turkey, have its capital in Turkey and produce an ethnic Turkish Antichrist may not be valid after all. Remember Damascus and Baghdad were the capitals of two major Islamic caliphates. I fact Baghdad was the capital of the caliphate for over 500 years. Baghdad is in Iraq which is ancient Babylon and if you have been following this blog, you know we believe Babylon will be the empire to rise from the dead and become the headquarters of the next Islamic Caliphate.
Please don’t get me wrong. I’m not doubting Turkey’s islamists want to bring back the caliphate and they might even get it started, help create the 10 nation Islamic confederacy or the 10 horns of the beast but ultimately, a ruler from a neighboring country known in Daniel 7 & 8 as “the little horn” who shall rise after the formation of the 10 nation confederacy will start a military campaign against some of the nations of this confederacy, will conquer much territory and Turkey will eventually submit to him in the process, after all, the Arab-Israeli conflict started way back with the two sons of Abraham, Isaac and Ishmael, and the conflict will end with the ethnic descendants of Isaac and Ishmael.

He Looks Like a Lamb But Speaks Like a Dragon
“Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon.12 And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast. . .” (Revelation 13:11-12)
Who is this second beast exercises the same political authority of the first beast and causes earth dwellers to worship the first beast?
We know the first beast with seven heads and 10 horns represents a former empire of biblical prophecy that will be revived and rule the Middle East for forty two months or three and a half years. Revelation 17 says that the ten horns are ten kings that will govern this empire or geopolitical alliance of ten nations. We believe this empire will be an Islamic empire centered in the Middle East surrounding Israel. The second beast exercises the authority of the first beast which is political.
The following verses give us a clue about what this beast represents:
“He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men.14 And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” (Revelation 13:13-14, 16-17)
This beast causes fire to come down from heaven and deceives earth dwellers to make an image to the first beast or Islamic empire of 10 nations. We do not need to speculate what this means because the answer is given in chapter 19 where we read:
“Then the beast (Islamic empire) was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image.” (Revelation 19:20)
The second beast is identified as the false prophet who deceives earth dwellers by working signs and by deceiving them to worship the first beast and receive his mark. Unlike the first beast, the second beast is not an empire of 10 nations but a person, an individual who has the office of a cleric or religious leader who also happens to exercise political and military authority as he “exercises the authority of the first beast” . In other words, he is like the Pope, the President, the Judicial leader and the Military General all in one person. Who in Islam would hold such titles? That would be the office of the Caliph.
This second beast and false prophet of Revelation would be ruling over an Islamic Caliphate. Google AI defines the Caliph this way:
“A caliph is the political and religious leader of the Muslim community, or ummah, and the successor to the Prophet Muhammad. The caliph’s role is to govern the state according to Islamic law (Sharia) and to defend and expand the lands of the Muslim community.”
Responsibilities
- Political leader: The caliph ruled over the Muslim community, much like a Persian king.
- Religious leader: The caliph was the leader of prayers (Imam) and a symbol of the supremacy of Sharia.
- Commander of the faithful: The caliph defended and expanded the lands of the Muslim community.
Does all that sound like the false prophet in Revelation? I believe so and I also believe we will see this become reality in our very near future.
He looks like a lamb but speaks as a dragon.
We know from the text in Revelation that the lamb represents Jesus Christ who is our king and high priest and that he also wages war against the beast. In other words, He is a political, religious and military leader all in one person and the Caliph of Islam wants to be an Islamic version of all that Jesus Christ is but he speaks as a dragon and we know that the dragon represents Satan:
Daniel gives us details about how this coming ruler of Islam will speak as a dragon:
The ten horns are ten kings
Who shall arise from this kingdom.
And another shall rise after them;
He shall be different from the first ones,
And shall subdue three kings. He shall speak pompous words against the Most High,
Shall persecute the saints of the Most High. . . (Daniel 7:24-25)
“Then the king shall do according to his own will: he shall exalt and magnify himself above every god, shall speak blasphemies against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the wrath has been accomplished; for what has been determined shall be done.” (Daniel 11:36)
That is how he speaks as a dragon or as Satan. He speaks pompous words and blasphemies against God and Jesus Christ. Did you notice the Arabic words on the image of the dragon- lamb image? Let me translate them for you.
“Allah is the Greatest”
“I bear witness that there is no deity but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah”
This is exactly what Daniel described in the verses above and we have more:
The Quran states:
“He (Allah) neither begets nor is born”
This is a reference to the idea of Jesus being the only begotten son of God according to John 3:16.
Below are more verses from the Quran denying the sonship of Jesus:
[2:116]
And they say, “God has begotten a son.” Be He glorified. Rather, His is everything in the heavens and the earth; all are obedient to Him.
[17:111]
And say, “Praise be to God, who has not begotten a son, nor has He a partner in sovereignty, nor has He an ally out of weakness, and glorify Him constantly.”
[18:4]
And to warn those who say, “God has begotten a son.”
[19:88]
And they say, “The Most Merciful has begotten a son.”
[23:91]
God has never begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Otherwise, each god would have taken away what it has created, and some of them would have gained supremacy over others. Glory be to God, far beyond what they describe.
[37:152]
“God has begotten.” They are indeed lying.
[112:3]
He begets not, nor was He begotten.
Do you see how the false prophet speaks as a Dragon? He recites the Shahada or Islamic declaration of faith, he recites verses from the Quran that deny that Jesus Christ is the son of God and he says Allah is the greatest of all deities.
What do the two horns represent?
In prophecy, horns represent kings or rulers of a kingdom. The firs beast has ten horns representing ten individual rulers who exercise political and military power. The second best or false prophet has two horns representing two power structures. These could refer to the fact that he exercises political/military and religious power since we are told he exercises the power of the first beast which is political and military besides being a religious leader or cleric. These two power structures can also refer to the two branches of Islam, Sunni and Shiite. These two branches of Islam oppose each other due to doctrinal differences but will be united under the influence of the false prophet after his military campaigns and territorial conquests of Muslim nations in the southern regions of the Middle East and North Africa as we shall see by the end of this article.
The beast and false prophet terrorize and behead Christians, Jews and anybody who refuses to accept Islam and bow down to it.
Compare to the verse from the Quran below:

Your Lord inspired the angels: “I am with you, so support those who believe. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. So strike above the necks, and strike off every fingertip of theirs.”
Some might argue that beheading as capital punishment is no longer used in Islamic countries but we have to keep in mind that the coming Islamic Caliphate will reintroduced the practice according to Revelation 20:4 and we saw beheadings as a common practice among members of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria which tried to establish a new caliphate.
Will there be an Antichrist and a False Prophet?
Most people believe that there will be two different leaders in the tribulation, one who will be the Antichrist and the other who will be his right hand man who will point people to worship him. That is because there are two beasts in Revelation 13 and most people assume these two beasts are two distinct individuals. I don’t believe that for the following reason:
All the prophecies in the Old Testament never point to two individuals but to one and he is known by several names or designations such as:
The Assyrian
The king of Babylon
The little horn
The king of fierce countenance
The king of the north (ancient Seleucid region of modern Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and Iran)
The willful king
When prophecy students are able to make a distinction between the two beasts in Revelation 13, they would realize the first beast speaks of an empire or coalition of 10 nations ruled by 10 different individual political kings and that the second beast speaks of an individual who besides being a religious leader or cleric, he is also a political and military leader and this is the one I believe will be the little horn Assyrian/King of Babylon/King of the North to become the Caliph of the coming Islamic empire who will force people to worship the god of the Islamic empire of the beast. Daniel makes it clear that this leader advances his empire by declaring war and by promoting military invasions and conquests in the name of his god.
“Then the king shall do according to his own will: he shall exalt and magnify himself above every god, shall speak blasphemies against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the wrath has been accomplished; for what has been determined shall be done.37 “He shall regard neither the God of his fathers nor the desire of women, nor regard any god; for he shall exalt himself above themall.38 “But in their place he shall honor a god of fortresses; and a god which his fathers did not know he shall honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and pleasant things.39 “Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain.”
The Northern King’s Conquests
¶ “At the time of the end the king of the South shall attack him; and the king of the North shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter the countries, overwhelm them, and pass through.41 “He shall also enter the Glorious Land, and many countriesshall be overthrown; but these shall escape from his hand: Edom, Moab, and the prominent people of Ammon.42 “He shall stretch out his hand against the countries, and the land of Egypt shall not escape.43 “He shall have power over the treasures of gold and silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt; also the Libyans and Ethiopians shall follow at his heels.44 “But news from the east and the north shall trouble him; therefore he shall go out with great fury to destroy and annihilate many.45 “And he shall plant the tents of his palace between the seas and the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and no one will help him”. (Daniel 11:36-45)
He will come to his end when Jesus Christ, the King of kings and Lord of lords comes back to destroy the beast and the false prophet according to Revelation 19 & 20.

Does the title “Abraham Shield” sound familiar?
Israel’s coalition for regional security also called “Abraham Shield Plan” apparently used a biblical term referring to God himself being the shield and protection of Abram whose name was later changed to Abraham. The problem here is that instead of trusting God for its protection, Israel is trusting a military partnership with Sunni Arab states to counter the threat of Iran and its allies Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Yemen.
The Abraham Accords and Abraham Shield Plan will probably offer a sense of peace and security to Israel and its Arab partners but make no mistake about it, this will only be temporary.
In 1 Thessalonians 5 Paul is referring to season of the Day of the Lord and His coming as a thief in the night. Paul then goes on to say that when they say “peace and safety”, destruction is just around the corner. It’s possible this is a reference to Isaiah 28 where we read:
“Therefore hear the word of the LORD, you scornful men,
Who rule this people who are in Jerusalem,
Because you have said, “We have made a covenant with death,
And with Sheol we are in agreement.
When the overflowing scourge passes through,
It will not come to us,
For we have made lies our refuge,
And under falsehood we have hidden ourselves.”
Therefore thus says the Lord GOD:
“Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation,
A tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation;
Whoever believes will not act hastily. Also I will make justice the measuring line,
And righteousness the plummet;
The hail will sweep away the refuge of lies,
And the waters will overflow the hiding place. Your covenant with death will be annulled,
And your agreement with Sheol will not stand;
When the overflowing scourge passes through,
Then you (Jerusalem and her rulers) and will be trampled down by it. (Isaiah 28:14-18)
This passage talks about the scornful men who rule Jerusalem making a covenant and agreement (accords) with death which they believe will prevent the “overflowing scourge” because they made lies and falsehood their refuge. God then says He lays in Zion a cornerstone and those who believe that stone will not act hastily. God then goes on to say that Jerusalem’s covenant and agreement (accords) with death will not stand because He will allow Jerusalem to be affected by the overflowing scourge and be trampled down by it.
“But exclude the courtyard outside the temple. Don’t measure it, because it is given to the nations and they will trample the holy city for forty-two months.” (Revelation 11:2)
Why are the rulers of Jerusalem scornful in Isaiah 28:14? I believe it’s because they reject and despise the cornerstone that God said He would lay in Zion in the following verses of Isaiah 28, therefore allowing Jerusalem to be trampled by the overflowing scourge its leaders were trying to avoid with a series of covenants and agreements (accords) that Jerusalem’s rulers trusted instead of believing and trusting God’s cornerstone laid in Zion and that cornerstone is Yeshua the Messiah, Jesus Christ.
With that being said, these agreements with Arab nations to the south will lead to the wars of the time of the end . In Daniel 11:40-45 we read:
“At the time of the end the king of the South shall attack him; and the king of the North (Antichrist) shall come against him (king of the south) like a whirlwind, with chariots, horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter the countries, overwhelm them, and pass through. He shall also enter (trample) the Glorious Land, and many countries shall be overthrown; but these shall escape from his hand: Edom, Moab, and the prominent people of Ammon. He shall stretch out his hand against the countries, and the land of Egypt shall not escape. He shall have power over the treasures of gold and silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt; also the Libyans and Ethiopians shall follow at his heels. But news from the east and the north shall trouble him; therefore he shall go out with great fury to destroy and annihilate many. And he shall plant the tents of his palace between the seas and the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and no one will help him.”
This passage is a reference to the final wars between the Seleucid (north) and Ptolemaic (south) kingdoms which would extend until the “time of the end.” These territories although under different political banners, will be at war just like in ancient times and Israel will be caught in the crossfire.
The Antichrist will be the final king of the north who will invade nations to the south and Egypt, Libya and Ethiopia (modern Sudan) will be some of the nations to engage him militarily, only be defeated and conquered. Notice that these nations are among those countries that have diplomatic ties with Israel and will be part of a renewed Abraham Accords and Abraham Shield Plan as opposed to Iran and its allies who oppose Arab nations and Israel for their diplomatic ties.
It appears that we are about to enter the “time of the end” and the Abraham Accords and Abraham Shield are major geopolitical signs pointing to the time of the end. Those who have been following this blog know that we believe the Antichrist will be a ruler to rise in the region of ancient Assyria and Babylon and he will probably be from a nation that opposes normalization between Israel and Arab countries to the south. Although the Abraham Accords and Abraham Shield Plan might bring some “peace and safety” for a time, these agreements are in reality a roadmap for the end time wars foretold in Daniel 11:40-45.

The prophet Daniel was told by the angel Gabriel that his visions of end time events would not be understood until the time of the end as the vision has been sealed until that time. The Rise of the Queen of Kingdoms
“Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great . . . for she says in her heart, ‘I sit as a queen. . . (Revelation 18:2, 7) NASB
We all know about the destruction of Babylon in Revelation 17&18. Most have believed that Babylon is a reference to the city of Rome. Others say it’s the United States, New York and lately, the most popular theory is that Babylon is Mecca in Saudi Arabia.
The text in Revelation 18 gives us a hint about the true identity of Babylon the Great. The fact that Babylon calls herself “queen” tells us where to look in the prophets. In fact many of the verses in Revelation 17 & 18 are direct references to Isaiah 13, 14 and 47 and Jeremia 50 & 51. I strongly encourage you to read those chapters side by side for comparison.
In Isaiah 47 we read:
Come down and sit in the dust,
Virgin daughter of Babylon;
Sit on the ground without a throne,
Daughter of the Chaldeans!
For you will no longer be called tender and delicate. . . Sit silently, and go into darkness,
Daughter of the Chaldeans;
For you will no longer be called
The queen of kingdoms. . . Yet you said, ‘I will be a queen forever. . . (Isaiah 47:1,5,7) NASB
Did you understand that? Babylon called herself “queen” in Isaiah 47 just as in Revelation 18. Did you also notice Babylon the “queen of kingdoms” is also called “daughter of Babylon” and “daughter of the Chaldeans”?
Do you know this a specific reference to a specific ethnic group that used to live in a very specific geographic location on this earth? This is telling us exactly where Babylon the Great existed and will once again exist as the “Queen of Kingdoms” or as I like to call it, the “Capital of Empires.” That is what the angel in Revelation 17 is referring to when he says the woman rides the beast.
“The woman whom you saw is the great city, which reigns over (is the queen of) the kings of the earth.” (Revelation 17:18) NASB
She tries to exercises political influence over the 10 kings that will form the empire of the beast as its capital and it will be the headquarters of the Antichrist until she is destroyed during the Antichrist’s military campaigns against some of the 10 kings until they all decide to surrender to him. It is probably during these wars the 10 kings attack and destroy Babylon trying to stop the Antichrist’s military conquests. Antichrist then moves his headquarters to Jerusalem until he is destroyed by the Lord Jesus Christ at His Glorious Appearing.
Babylon the Great will be the capital of the Antichrist for a time and the geographical references to the “Chaldeans” in Isaiah 13, 14 and 47, Jeremiah 50 & 51 as well as a clear reference to the Great River Euphrates mentioned in Revelation 16:12 which is connected to Babylon’s destruction in Revelation 16:19 should tell us where to look for the rise of Babylon the Great.
These specific geographical references in the text should keep us from getting confused about the identity of Babylon the Great. Just as a Babylon became one of the capitals of the Persian and Grecian empires and of some Islamic caliphates in the past, it will become the capital of the last Islamic empire of biblical prophecy. I’ll leave you with these maps in case you still haven’t figured it out.
Some might ask how the Antichrist can be the leader and of a revived Babylonian empire with Babylon as his capital and still be the beast that destroys Babylon the Great. Why would he destroy his own capital city? Remember that Babylon the Great is destroyed by the 10 nation confederacy, not by the Antichrist himself who is an outsider and he rises later as the eleventh king and is not a member of the original 10 nation confederacy.
We read in a Daniel 11:36-45 that at the beginning of his ascension to power, he starts several military campaigns, defeats several nations and conquers a vast territory trying to create his own empire from Babylon. It’s probably during these wars that his capital city of Babylon is attacked and destroyed but in a dramatic turn of events, the 10 nation confederacy decides to surrender and give him all their political and military power.
With Babylon out of the picture, he now decides that he needs to liberate Jerusalem from Jewish presence and he will plant the tents of his palace on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem which will become the final headquarters of his new empire until he is destroyed at the Second Coming of Christ.
Revelation 14:9 appears to give us a chronological order of these events. The second angel announces the fall of Babylon the Great and after Babylon is destroyed, a third angel warns people not to worship the beast and take his mark. This gives the impression that it’s only after the destruction of Babylon that the 10 kings surrender to the eleventh king and the beast gains full control and continues to exercise power for the next 42 months or 3.5 years.

Forget Lucifer: Isaiah 14 is About Islam and Muhammed
We all know the famous passage from Isaiah 14:12.
“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!”
The name “Lucifer” comes from the Vulgate, the translation of the Bible to Latin by Jerome in the 4th century.
Since then the word came to be associated with Satan as the angel that was cast out of heaven but a closer look at the original text, the geographical and eschatological context of Isaiah 13 & 14 reveals something more.
Isaiah 13 starts with the oracle against Babylon in the land of the Chaldeans (modern day Iraq) and its future destruction in the end times. How do we know it’s about the end times?
The Eschatological Context
“The burden against Babylon which Isaiah the son of Amoz saw. . .For the stars of heaven and their constellations
Will not give their light;
The sun will be darkened in its going forth,
And the moon will not cause its light to shine.” (Isaiah 13:1,10)
Here we see that when Babylon is destroyed, the sun, moon and stars will go dark just like Jesus said will happen at the end of the tribulation:
“Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.” (Matthew 24:29)
The Geographical Context
“And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms,
The beauty of the Chaldeans’ pride,
Will be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.” (Isaiah 13:19)
In this verse Isaiah says Babylon is the beauty of the Chaldean’s pride. This is explicitly telling the reader that the end time city and empire of Babylon is geographically associated with the land of the Chaldeans. Chaldea was located in what we know today as Iraq.
We also read that Babylon will be “as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah”, that is, it will be destroyed by fire. That is what Revelation chapter 18 says will happen to Babylon as opposed to the conquest of Babylon by Persia without a battle in 539 B.C.
Isaiah 14 continues the oracle against Babylon with Israel’s future and final restoration:
“For the LORD will have mercy on Jacob, and will still choose Israel, and settle them in their own land. The strangers will be joined with them, and they will cling to the house of Jacob.” (Isaiah 14:1)
Isaiah proceeds with saying that when finally restored, Israel will take up a proverb agains Babylon’s future and final ruler:
“It shall come to pass in the day the LORD gives you rest from your sorrow, and from your fear and the hard bondage in which you were made to serve,4 that you will take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say:“How the oppressor has ceased,
The golden city ceased!” (Isaiah 14:3-4)
Later in the chapter this king of Babylon is called “the Assyrian” whom God Himself will destroy for invading His (God’s) land.
The LORD of hosts has sworn, saying,
“Surely, as I have thought, so it shall come to pass,
And as I have purposed, so it shall stand:That I will break the Assyrian in My land,
And on My mountains tread him underfoot.
Then his yoke shall be removed from them,
And his burden removed from their shoulders. (Isaiah 14:24-25)
The final ruler of Babylon and Assyria (modern day Iraq) will be none other than the Antichrist and as we shall see, it all connects to Islam and Mohammed.

The first thing we see here is that Heylel, not Lucifer is the subject of the prophecy. The word Heylel (Strong’s concordance H1966) comes from the root word Halal (Strong’s concordance H1984)
The word means, among other things, to be praised, praiseworthy and worthy of praise. Keep this in mind as we will come back to it later.
The Arabic word for “Crescent moon” is “Hilal”. The etymology of “hilal” is cognate (having the same linguistic derivation as another; from the same original word or root) with the Hebrew word Halal ה־ל־ל from which the word Heylel comes from as seen below.
In other words, the Arabic “Hilal” for “crescent moon” comes from the same root as the Hebrew words Heylel and Halal that translate as “shining one” and as “praiseworthy” or “worthy of praise.” Do you know what the name Muhammed means in Arabic?

Isaiah 14 is telling us that the coming final ruler of Babylon who will rise to oppress Israel is associated with the Hebrew word “Heylel” that comes from the root word “Halal”. The text in Isaiah 14 says that Heylel wants to ascend to heaven, above the stars of God and sit on the “mount of the congregation” on “sides of the north” and be like the “Most High God.”
What is the ascension of Muhammad?
“The night journey and ascension of the Prophet Muhammad was a miraculous occurrence during which he travelled from Makkah (Mecca) to Masjid Al-Aqsa in Jerusalem before ascending to heaven, all in one night. Isra’ is the night journey from Makka to Masjid Al-Aqsa. Mi’raj is the journey from Masjid Al-Aqsa to the heavens.”
Did you understand this? Are you able to connect all the dots? Isaiah pretty much described what Muslims believe about the ascension of Muhammed to heaven during which he traveled to Jerusalem where the Dome of the Rock and Al-Aqsa mosques were built on the Temple Mount, the very place where the first and second Jewish temples stood.
But why build them on the Temple Mount specifically? Remember Heylel in Isaiah 14 wanted to sit on the Mount of the congregation on the sides of the north besides ascending to heaven?
Psalm 48:2 says that Mount Zion on the sides of the north is the Mount of the congregation of Isaiah 14:13, the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Have you already realized what is going on here? The Dome of the Rock and Muhammed’s delusional ascension to heaven is a partial fulfillment of Isaiah 14 and its final fulfillment will take place under the rule of the Antichrist or Muhammed Al Mahdi, the awaited Islamic Messiah.
Here is another is the interesting thing about this passage in Isaiah. The Hebrew word for “ascend” is the Hebrew word “ALAH.” The word means “to ascend”, “to go up” and “to exalt”. Is it possible that Isaiah is giving us the identity Satan would use to sit on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem by using the word ALAH in Hebrew?
Notice the Hebrew word “ALAH” traslated as “ascend.”
Soon after Mohammed supposedly received divine revelations from the Islamic god “Allah” brought to him by an “archangel” named Gabriel, Mohammed sought to conquer lands for Allah until he reached Jerusalem.
Islamic tradition believes that Mohammed miraculously “ascended” (Alah in Hebrew) to heaven from the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and as a result, Muslims decided, under the Umayyad Caliphate, to build an Islamic mosque on the Temple Mount, the very site where Yahweh God chose to put his name and to have a house or temple built for him.
The Mahdi Connection
Shiite Muslims have been awaiting for the return of Imam al Mahdi, the Islamic Messiah. In fact his full name is Imam Muhammed Al Mahdi. He has the same name that means “praiseworthy” that is etymologically connected to the Hebrew words Heylel and Halal which are from the same root of the Arabic word Hilal which translates as crescent moon, the symbol of Islam.
The Mahdi went into occultation in the 9th century and is believed to return in the end times. A lot of Bible Prophecy teachers talk about the person of the Mahdi and what he will do as compared to the Antichrist but they never talk about his birthplace. He was born in Samarra, Iraq (ancient Babylon where Heylel will rise to persecute Israel) and is believed by Shiite Muslims to return and make Iraq the center of his government before capturing Jerusalem to make it the final capital of his “rightly guided Caliphate”. That is why Iraq is so important to radical Shiite government of Iran and its Shiite proxies and allies in the Middle East.
In their book Al Mahdi and the End of Time, authors Muhammad ibn Izzat and Muhammad Arif write:
“The Mahdi will be victorious and eradicate those pigs and dogs and the idols of this time so that there will once more be a caliphate based on prophethood as the hadith states… Jerusalem will be the location of the rightly guided caliphate and the center of Islamic rule, which will be headed by Imam al-Mahdi… That will abolish the leadership of the Jews… and put an end to the domination of the Satans who spit evil into people and cause corruption in the earth, making them slaves of false idols and ruling the world by laws other than the Sharia [Islamic Law] of the Lord of the worlds.”

Antichrist Honors his God with Gold, Silver and Precious Stones
In the previous article we wrote about how the Antichrist honors his false god Allah with glory by proclaiming “Allahu Akbar” or “Allah is the Greatest.”
In this article we want to focus on how this false god is honored with gold, silver and precious stones.
Daniel 11:38 states:
“But in their place he shall honor a god of fortresses; and a god which his fathers did not know he shall honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and pleasant things”.
We saw in the previous article the phrase “god of fortresses” means military power. The Antichrist advances his religion by the sword just as Mohammed and Caliphs did as portrayed in Islamic art.
How does one honor his god with gold, silver and precious stones? We know all religions promote the construction of temples or shrines to honor their respective gods and Islam is no different.
All grand mosques throughout the Middle East are adorned with gold, silver and precious stones on their walls and ceilings not to mention the marble floors. The golden dome of the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem for example is covered with 180 pounds of gold.
A simple Google search will reveal the splendor with which mosques are constructed and Muslims spare no effort in spending enormous amounts of money when building these mosques.

There are many more photos like the ones above that can been seen online. The idea here is to just give a glimpse of how the false god of the Antichrist is honored with gold, silver and precious stones and it’s possible that he will finance the building of several new mosques during his reign of terror.
We know other religions adorn their temples with gold, silver and precious stones and although Christendom is guilty of this practice especially when it comes to Roman Catholicism and some Protestants denominations, Islam is what Daniel 11 and all other prophetic passages alude to due to the geographical, military and religious aspects of the last days empire and its evil ruler.
The False God the Antichrist Honors with Glory
“Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar!!!
In Arabic: الله أكبر الله أكبر الله أكبر
We all have heard that phrase on TV, radio and social media videos. It means “Allah is the Greatest.”
Daniel 11:39 states:
“Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain”
The context is about the final “king of the north”, a reference to the last ruler of what is biblically and historically known as the Seleucid division of the Grecian empire of Daniel 11:1-4 which must be reborn, just as the nation of Israel was reborn in 1948 after two millennia in exile, to fulfill its end time prophetic destiny. The Seleucid empire covered what we know today as parts of Turkey, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan. The final evil ruler must come from this region.
This coming ruler will honor a “strange” (foreign in Hebrew) god of forces (strongholds, fortresses in Hebrew) meaning military power and will increase him with glory. The national religion of the nations mentioned above is Islam whose deity is Allah and whose symbol is a crescent moon and star.
This god is referred to as a foreign deity from a land outside of the borders of and not native to ancient Israel whose God was Yahweh or Jehovah. The text also says in Daniel 11:38 that this ruler’s fathers or ancestors did not know this god, a reference to the unfamiliarity about Allah to ancient Arab civilizations in pre-Islamic times.
Muslims enforce the idea that Allah is the greatest and by shouting “Allahu Akbar”, they honor and advance his glory. They call him the “greatest” of all gods and believe they must conquer the earth for Allah through military conquests, just as a Mohammed did after fleeing Mecca for Medina. The Islamic expansion during the age of the Caliphates is a testament to that as seen on the map below.

Alternative View of the 10 Kings Who Give Their Power to the Beast
We wrote in our book The Coming Bible Prophecy Reformation and in several articles on this blog that the 10 kings of the beast or religious empire of the last days will be a confederacy of 10 Islamic nations in the Middle East.
In this article we’d like to offer an alternate view based on the possibility that when referring to “kings”, the text in Daniel 7 and Revelation 13 could possibly be alluding to Islamic monarchies that would come out of the fourth beast with ten horns or kingdom where 10 kings will arise in Daniel 7 which is also the composite leopard-bear-lion beast with the same 10 horns in Revelation 13. Revelation 13:1 says that on the horns are ten crowns and that could be alluding to ten Islamic monarchies instead of what we know as modern Islamic republics.
The composite beast in Revelation will geographically encompass the territories of the first three kingdoms of Daniel 7 and form a political and geographical conglomerate empire in the end times. Below is a visual representation of that coming conglomerate empire.
This is the same territory of the Seleucid Empire referred to in Daniel 11 as the “king of the north” which returns or is revived in the end times to wage war against many nations to the south and invade Israel in the process.
What is not commonly known to most people is that out of the 57 nations of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, 10 are Islamic Monarchies.
These 10 monarchies are listed as follows:
Daniel 7 says that the Antichrist rises as the eleventh king after the 10 are already in place and will subdue 3 kings. The alternate view to be considered is the possibility that the Antichrist will create a new Islamic monarchy within the confines of the ancient Seleucid empire which included the territories of the Assyrian and Babylonian empires whose expansion covered parts of Turkey, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and Iran becoming the 11th Islamic monarchy in the Middle East governed by Shariah Law.
After this eleventh monarchy subdues three of the existing monarchies, war will erupt and nations to the south like Egypt will question his true intentions and will attack this new monarch who in turn will invade and conquer Egypt, Libya and Sudan according to Daniel 11:42-43.
It’s interesting to note that as he invades Israel (the Glorious Land) in Daniel 11:41, Edom, Moab and the people of Ammon are spared of any military invasion or confrontation. Ancient and modern maps show that Edom, Moab and Ammon became what we know today as the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. In fact, Jordan’s capital Amman, derived its name from the ancient Ammonites or the people of Ammon.
If you haven’t noticed, Jordan is one of the 10 Islamic monarchies listed above and is governed by the Hashemites, a royal family whose ancestors descend from the Islamic prophet Muhammad himself and his great-grandfather. Could it be that the Antichrist as the new Islamic monarch in the region will also be a direct descendant of Mohammed and will spare Jordan of his military invasions and conquests out of respect for the Hashemite king in Jordan whom the Antichrist will consider to be his cousin or close relative? Only time will tell.
This article only offers an alternate view of the 10 kings. It might be just a coincidence that there are today 10 Islamic monarchies but we have to consider that these 10 Islamic monarchies could possibly be what Bible prophecy refers to as the 10 kings that would come out of the fourth kingdom of Daniel 7 which we discussed in chapters 5 and 8 of our book is not a reference to Rome but to the Islamic Caliphate which “crushed” or conquered the first three kingdoms of Daniel 7, something that Rome never accomplished as history proves.

The Mark, Name and Number of the Beast: Allah is in the Details

We have all heard that the mark of the beast will be some kind of technological device like a tiny microchip inserted under the skin. The original text in Revelation 13 reveals something entirely different and of a much simpler nature.
The Greek word for mark in Revelation 13:18 is χάραγμα or charagma according to Srong’s concordance G5480.
As you can see, the word simply refers to a stamp or an imprinted mark. We wrote about this subject on pages 246-241 of our book The Coming Bible Prophecy Reformation published in 2014. In the book we discuss that the mark of the beast will most likely be a headband and an armband to be enforced and worn by Muslim populations throughout the Middle East.
Although not enforced at the present moment, Muslims already have the habit of wearing headbands displaying Arabic inscriptions of the Shadada, the Islamic declaration of faith which translates as:
“I bear witness that there is no God but Allah and Muhammad is his Messenger”
Once we establish from history and all other prophetic and eschatological passages in the Bible that Islam is the religious empire that will rise in the end times, knowing what the mark of the beast will be becomes simple to understand. The mark will not be a super advanced technological device but probably simple imprinted inscriptions on a headband or armband. Below are a few examples of Muslims wearing the Shahada on their foreheads.
How does the Shahada tie to the number 666, you might ask?
We know from the Greek text (Strong’s G5516) that the word translated as 666 or χξϚ has a striking resemblance to the Bislmallah or the name of Allah in Arabic.
Below are screenshots of pages 246-248 of our book where we show the resemblance between the Greek characters χξϚ for 666, the Bismallah and the Shahada.
Since wearing the Shahada and the Bismallah headband is already a common practice among Muslims, we can conclude that when the Antichrist rises to power and takes over the confederacy of 10 Islamic nations which we believe will be the beast of 10 horns in Daniel 7 and Revelaation 13, wearing the Shahada on the forehead or right arm will become law and anybody who refuses to do so will be forbidden to buy and sale.
He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads,and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is χξϚ 666. (Revelation 13:16-18)
In other words, all commercial transactions within the empire of the Antichrist will demand that people display the name of Allah on their right arm or on their forehead.
The phrase “to receive a mark in their right hand” as seen in some translations is misleading. The word translated “in” is the Greek word epi (Strong’s 1909) and its definition is as follows:

This means that the mark will not be implanted under the skin of humans but that it will be placed upon, over or against the skin and it will be a badge with a stamp on it, not a technological device implanted under the skin such as a microchip. The phrase in Revelation 13:16 would be better translated as follows:
“And he causes both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond to receive [a badge or a stamp] [upon, over, against] their right hand, or [upon, over, against] their foreheads”
All of this coincides with the fact that the numerical value or Gematria of the name Allah in Arabic is 66.

Islam, the Beast and Names of Blasphemy
In Revelation 13 and 17 we read that the red leopard-bear-lion composite beast is full of names of blasphemy.
This beast is the same fourth beast of Daniel 7 having the same 10 horns with the 11th little horn rising and speaking great things against the Most High God.
“The ten horns are ten kings
Who shall arise from this kingdom.
And another shall rise after them;
He shall be different from the first ones,
And shall subdue three kings. He shall speak pompous words against the Most High,
Shall persecute the saints of the Most High,
And shall intend to change times and law”. (Daniel 7:23-25)
Compare to Revelation
“And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months. Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them”. (Revelation 13:5-7)
We have extensively written on this blog that this coming beast kingdom is a revived Islamic empire with Babylon as its capital. Further reading is available on the link below.
As far as changing times and law, this is a reference to Islamic sharia law and calendar being enforced on Israel after this coming Islamic empire invades and conquers the Jewish state of Israel in the not too distant future. Further reading is available on the link below.
The focus of this article will be on the blasphemous nature of this coming Islamic empire. We saw that in Daniel the leader of this final empire will speak pompous words against the Most High and in Revelation we read he speaks blasphemies against God, His name, His tabernacle and those who dwell in heaven.
The first blasphemy we will discuss is the Shahada or the Islamic declaration of faith which reads:
This declaration of faith assumes that the Yahweh or Jehovah, the God of the Bible does not exist and that Allah, the God of Islam is the only deity that exists and worthy of worship.
The second blasphemy is Islam’s denial of the sonship of Jesus Christ.
The Quran chapter 112:3 states:
“He neither begets nor is born”
This is a reference to the idea of Jesus being the only begotten son of God according to John 3:16. These are blasphemies against God and his Christ. Revelation 13 :7 says the beast also speaks blasphemies against God’s name.
Islam refers to God as “Allah” and the phrase “Allahu Akbar” uttered by millions of Muslims translated as “Allah is Greater” is a direct blasphemy against Jehovah as Allah is elevated above the God of the Bible.
The name of Yeshua or Jesus is also blasphemed by Islam as Jesus is called “Isa” and is downgraded from the position of divine Son of God to a mere prophet who never died on a cross.
The beast also speaks blasphemies against God’s tabernacle and against those who dwell in heaven. This tabernacle is possibly a reference to Mount Zion also known as the Temple Mount in Jerusalem where God chose to put His name (2 Kings 21:4) and build His Temple or Tabernacle.
Satan (Lucifer) as the king of Babylon in Isaiah 14:4-15 wants to ascend to heaven and exalt his throne above the stars of God by sitting upon the “mount of the congregation on the sides of the north” which according to Psalm 48:2 is Mount Zion in Jerusalem, thereby blaspheming against God’s tabernacle and against those who dwell in heaven.
Islam already partially fulfilled this prophecy by building the Dome of the Rock and the Al-Aqsa mosques exactly where the first and second temples stood as as a direct affront to God and Arabic inscriptions on the Dome of the Rock mention the Islamic belief that Allah “neither begets nor is begotten”, a blasphemy against the father-son relationship between God the Father and God the Son.

The Antichrist as an Islamic leader will bring a final fulfillment to this prophecy by invading the Temple Mount and enforcing the Abomination of Desolation.

Bashar Al-Assad is Another Failed Antichrist Prediction
We all have seen world leaders be labeled as the Antichrist by those who supposedly posses some supernatural knowledge of prophetic Scriptures.
Ever since I started studying and writing about prophecy, I’ve seen an extensive list of world leaders be labeled as the Antichrist by authors of prophecy books and online bloggers. Below is a small list of leaders who were supposed to be the Antichrist.
Alexis Tsipras, former Prime Minister of Greece
Javier Solana, former Secretary General of NATO
Nicholas Sarkozy, former President of France
Barack Obama, former President of the United States
Prince Charles now King of the United Kingdom
Emanuel Macron, president of France
These are just some of the Antichrist candidates that people have promoted over the years. There are those who firmly believe Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is the Antichrist and some are even pushing the sensationalistic idea that Donald Trump or his son-in-law Jared Kushner will be the Antichrist. Elon Musk is another candidate for some people for whatever unbiblical reason.
The most recent failed prediction concerns former Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad. Some have pushed this idea and one prophecy teacher in particular was possibly the most vocal prophecy writer about the idea of Bashar Al-Assad of Syria being the Antichrist. He was so convinced of his belief that he labeled as a “clown” 🤡 anybody who dared to disagree with him.
The fact of the matter is that Assad is now history in Syria after the fall of his regime and we predicted or called for his removal from power 10 years in advance on page 263 of our book titled The Coming Bible Prophecy Reformation published in November of 2014. Below is a screenshot of that page.
The fact of the matter is that the Antichrist won’t appear on the geopolitical scene until after the formation of a confederacy of ten kings or ten nation states in the Middle East, so it’s pretty much impossible to identify who he is at the present moment. We can all have our guesses for possible candidates but we should be careful not to widely promote our guesses as 100% truth as many have foolishly done.
The Antichrist enters the political stage as the eleventh leader only after the confederacy of ten kings has been formed and he must come from a very small or politically and militarily insignificant nation as he is called the little horn in Daniel chapters 7 and 8 who will rise after ten larger horns (kings, heads of state) form the confederacy and he becomes strong with a “small people” according to Daniel 11:23. He won’t come from a large and powerful nation.
Daniel 11:21 also appears to suggest the Antichrist is not someone who is elected as the president or prime minister of this small nation as the text says he is not “given the honor of the kingdom” but “shall obtain the kingdom by flatteries or false promises but that still remains a mystery as to how he will rise to power and take off politically and militarily.
It’s also our personal opinion he won’t appear on the political scene as the average politician dressed in a fancy suit and tie but will be a radical religious cleric dressed in religious attire and sometimes in military uniform as we explain in the article linked below.
The confederacy of 10 kings does not exist at the moment and with the fall of Syria we will possibly see changes come to the map of the Middle East in the years ahead and the nation that the Antichrist comes from will be within the confines of ancient Assyria and Babylon encompassing what we know today as parts of Syria and Iraq. That nation may not even exist officially yet as Western powers and Israel have plans to Balkanize Middle Eastern Arab countries into smaller nation-states with Iraq being divided into two or or possibly three smaller nation-states as mentioned on page 264 of our book and expanded upon in an article we published back in 2015 which can be accessed on the link below.
With all that being said, the idea of Bashar Al-Assad being the Antichrist as promoted by this particular prophecy teacher, his followers and a few other people is the latest Antichrist failed prediction but these people might still have hopes that somehow Bashar Al-Assad who now lives in political asylum in Russia will eventually be magically reinstalled as the leader of a new Syria to be created after the current chaos is over.
I highly doubt that will be the case but I’m well aware that my opinion is just that, an opinion and my opinion is as unimportant to this subject matter as summer time is unimportant to polar bears living and hunting for food in the Arctic.

Israel’s Military Power Will Be Shattered . . . For a While
As we can see, Israel has dealt a major blow to its enemies in the past few months. The Israel Defense Forces haven been able to completely annihilate Hamas, Hezbollah, kill its leaders and now has the upper hand over Syria with the fall of the Syrian dictator Bashar Al-Assad.
Although Israel has been enjoying the status of military super power in the Middle East, that status will come to an end, at least temporarily according to Daniel 8:24 and Daniel 12:7 where we read Israel will be a powerful people in the end times.
According to these verses in Daniel, the power of the “holy people” will be shattered by a coming religious and military leader who shall become mighty to the point of waging war against mighty nations and against the currently powerful nation of Israel.
The holy people in this context are the people of the kingdom of Judah who were taken captive to Babylon and who are the focus of the book of the prophet Daniel. The prophetic text foresaw that in the end times the people of Judah commonly known as Jews would return to the land of Israel, reestablish themselves as a nation and become a people who hold power politically and militarily.
Daniel also prophesied that in the last days, a ruler shall rise from the regions that were under the rule of the Seleucid empire. That region encompasses what we know today as parts of Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and Iran.
Isaiah refers to this coming leader as “the Assyrian” or “ the king of Assyria” (Isaiah 10 , 14 and 31) and as the “king of Babylon” (Isaiah 14). We have several articles exploring the geopolitical titles and designations given to this coming ruler.
We personally believe he will rise in Iraq, will create a combination of a revived Babylonian and Seleucid empires, will expand his empire to include all the area north and east of Israel, wage war against Israel and nations south of Israel and eventually shatter the political and military power of the holy people, that is, the modern day Jewish state of Israel until Jesus Christ returns to destroy this coming ruler, his empire and restore Israel and establish an everlasting kingdom.
Make no mistake. Satan desires to destroy Israel and he is not happy with Israel’s recent victories and soon God will allow Satan to do as he wishes for a brief period so Israel can be chastised and purified and as we read in Isaiah 10, God will use the coming Assyrian ruler as God’s rod of indignation against Zion (Israel) while at the same time allowing him to be Satan’s tool of destruction.

The Rise of Islam in 600 A.D. and the Numerical Value 66 of Allah.
History tells us that about 600 years After Christ, more precisely around the year 610, Mohammed, the so called prophet of Islam began to receive revelations from the angel Jibril who told him Allah was the true God.
It’s is also interesting that the numerical value of the word “Allah” in Arabic is 66.
A web site called “The Mathematical Miracle of Islam” confirms that 66 is the numerical value of Allah.

When you connect the dots, a man (Mohammed) around the year 600 A.D. (After Christ) gives rise to a religion whose deity’s numerical value is 66. Do you see what I see?
It is also interesting to note that the image in Daniel 3 whose height was 60 cubits and breadth was 6 cubits (60 and 6=66) was placed in the plain of Dura in Babylon, modern day Iraq, only this time it was around the 6th century (around 600) Before Christ when the events of the book of Daniel began to take place after Babylon conquered Jerusalem and took Jews captive to Babylon.
So in summary, we see that a statue was erected in Babylon to be worshipped in the 6th (600) century Before Christ whose height was 60 cubits and breadth 6 cubits.

This is just another of many connection to literal Babylon in Iraq being revived in the end times.

There are also those who claim that 666 in Hebrew is equivalent to the name of Allah in Arabic as seen on the image below.
Of course all of the above could be just a coincidence. Nevertheless let us not forget that:

Haniyeh, Nasrallah and Sinwar’s Assasinations to Pave the Way for Israel’s Deadliest Enemy
In the past few weeks and months, Israel has dealt a major blow to the leaders of Hamas and Hezbollah among other terrorists. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have done a fantastic job hunting and killing some of the worst enemies of the Jewish state in recent times. It’s possible that in the coming months Israel will even be able to assassinate Iran’s supereme leader, Ayatollah Ali Hosseini Khamenei.
All these successful assassinations will give Israel a temporary false sense of peace and will pave the way for Israel’s deadliest enemy to quietly rise to power and we know that this future enemy will not be hunted and assassinated by Israel’s military. If anything, Israel as a nation will be invaded, its territory conquered and many of its citizens will be persecuted and killed and this enemy will only be destroyed by the Lord Jesus Christ himself at His Second Coming
“And in the latter time of their kingdom (end times revived version of the Seleucid division of the Grecian empire) , When the transgressors have reached their fullness, A king shall arise,
Having fierce features,
Who understands sinister schemes. His power shall be mighty, but not by his own power;
He shall destroy fearfully,
And shall prosper and thrive;
He shall destroy the mighty, and also the holy people. . . ¶ Then I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever, that it shall be for a time, times, and half a time; and when the power of the holy people has been completely shattered, all these things shall be finished. (Daniel 8:23-24, 12:7)
The “holy people” in these verses is a reference to Daniel’s people upon whom the 70 prophetic weeks are determined in Daniel 9:24-27 and it’s specifically addressing Jews who have returned to the land of Israel in the end times as the 70 weeks are determined not only for the Daniel’s people, but also for the “your (Daniel’s) holy city”, a reference to Jerusalem in Israel. The king who shall arise to destroy the mighty and the “holy people” will come out of the geographical confines of the ancient Seleucid empire also geographically addressed in Daniel 11 as the “king of the north” and we know from history this was the ancient Seleucid empire whose first capital was Seleucia located in what we know today as Iraq.

We know from several other passages that this coming evil king is called “the Assyrian” and the “King of Babylon”. We have several articles on this blog addressing this king’s geopolitical connection to the region of Assyria and Babylon known today as Iraq and how the Seleucid empire territory will once again exist in a modern geopolitical revival to give rise to the final evil king. What we wanted to briefly point out in this article is that Israel’s tremendous success in eliminating its enemies recently will not stop Satan’s grand scheme of bringing his ultimate servant to the spotlight and will not stop Satan’s attempt to destroy the Jewish nation and once that becomes reality, only God through Jesus Christ will be able to destroy Israel’s final and deadliest enemy.
And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. (2 Thessalonians 2:8)

Ballistic Missiles Fired on Israel: We Wrote About It A Decade Ago
This year of 2024 we witnessed two massive missile attacks on Israel by the Iranian military. The video below shows Iran’s missiles flying over the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem.
In September of 2015 we wrote an article titled “Will Iraq Become Iran’s Nuclear Base?” In which we anticipated missile attacks against Israel. We wrote a related article in March of 2017 titled “Iraq, the False Prophet and Missiles” explaining how the Antichrist will rise as a radical Islamic cleric who will cause “fire to come down from heaven” by firing missiles against Israel.
What the Iranian military under the instructions of its radical religious leader did recently was just a preview of things to come and prophecy seems to indicate that in the near future Iraq which is just next door to Iran will likely house part of most of Iran’s arsenal of ballistic missiles to be used against Israel by another radical religious leader who will rise in Iraq to become the biblical false prophet.

Secular Media Keeps Confirming Daniel 11’s “King of the North” Geographical Location
Fox News recently put out a video showing a map of Israel’s enemies in the Middle East.
The “Israel Surrounded by Terror Groups” visual map clearly identifies the nations located to the north and northeast with the exception of Yemen located to the south. These nations are Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran and Yemen. In his recent speech at the Unite Nations, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also used maps to illustrate what the refers to as “The Curse” and “The Blessing.”
Notice that “The Curse” map in black shows the same exact geographical location of the “Israel Surrounded by Terror Groups” map. “The Curse” map is predominantly governed by Shia Islam whereas “ The Blessing” map is predominantly Sunni.
Could it be that the 4 Shiite nations to the north and northeast plus Yemen in the south are 5 of the 10 kings that will eventually unite under Antichrist?
We have for the past decade documented in articles on this blog and in our book published in 2014 that the final “king of the north” that will wage war against its southern counterpart and invade Israel in the process will possibly be a radical Shiite cleric and military leader.
Since Israel considers the Sunni nations to the south “The Blessing” and is currently in the process and “normalization” with Saudi Arabia which is seen as an enemy to Shia Islam, it’s reasonable to conclude that the Shiites in the north will wage war against the Sunnis in the south for being allies of Israel.
The Antichrist will invade the southern Sunni nations and will convince them to turn against Israel and join him in his attempt to invade Jerusalem.
The historical king of the north in Daniel is a reference to the Seleucid empire and end time prophecy indicates that this empire must be revived in the last days to fulfill the latter portion of Daniel 11:36-45 and Daniel 12.
Below is a map of the historical Seleucid empire known as the “king of the north” in Daniel 11 and it is almost identical in territorial coverage as shown on the maps of Shiite dominated areas (also called “Axis of Resistance”) that the secular media identify as enemies of Israel.

Benjamin Netanyahu’s UN Speech Maps Are Straight Out Of Bible Prophecy
Israeli Pime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu just gave a speech at the United Nations in which he showed to maps which he called “The Curse” and “The Blessing.”
He pointed the finger at the “goons” in Iran as he has done year after year and described the Iranian axis across Iraq, Syria and Lebanon as a curse.
Those who have followed this blog and have read ou book know that we have for over a decade emphasized that what Netanyahu just showed on his maps are exactly what Daniel 11 calls for in the end times and we have several articles on this blog with maps illustrating how the wars of Daniel 11 between the “king of the north” and “the king of the south” are connected to the Sunni-Shiite conflict in the last days with Israel in the crossfire which will eventually lead to the invasion of Israel by what we believe to be a Shiite alliance from the north led by the Antichrist. A Preview of How The Speaking Image of the Beast will be Worshiped
In our book The Coming Bible Prophecy Reformation published in 2014 we conjectured that the speaking image of the beast could refer to the sound of the Islamic prayer that comes out of loudspeakers from minarets in Islamic mosques. We know from Revelation 13 that during the Great Tribulation the penalty of death will be enforced on all those who refuse to bow down and worship the image of the beast when it speaks during the Islamic call to prayer just like ISIS did as reported by the Jerusalem Post in 2016.

It is possible that the image of the beast is not only the crescent moon but also the black cube to which Muslims direct their prayers to in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. It is also possible that the image of the beast is the name of Allah in Arabic that is used to decorate the top of Shiite mosques and minarets in Shiite countries as discussed in the article titled Allah and the Speaking Image of the Beast which you can read by clicking the link at the end of this article.
If all this turns out to be true, the time will come when all those who refuse to bow down before the symbol of Islam and worship the Islamic deity during the Islamic call to prayer will be killed.

The Antichrist and a Cup of Chai
Ok dear readers, it’s time for a little Bible prophecy fun time in the midst of so many serious and chaotic information presented on this blog.
Recently a painting of King Charles III of England was released and the internet was caught by storm with articles saying how demonic it is.
Some Christian brothers who seem totally oblivious to all the geographical references in the Bible about where the Antichrist will rise are looking to the painting of King Charles III as an image of the Antichrist.
Some of you who are new to the subject of end time prophecy might be wondering where the idea that King Charles is the Antichrist comes from. in 1998 author Tim Cohen published a book titled The Antichrist and a Cup of Tea.
I read the book in the early 2000’s and was very amused by it. He goes into a lot of conjecture and speculation to convince his readers that the then Prince Charles, now King of England is the Antichrist. As you might know, English people love drinking tea and the Antichrist would be no different, hence the title of the book.
As you might be already familiar with my book and my articles, you know that I present biblical evidence that the Antichrist will not rise in Europe, much less in England but in the region of ancient Assyria and Babylon which are geographically known today as Iraq. And guess what? Much like the English, Iraqis also love drinking tea, except they call it “chai” or “Iraqi Chai”, hence the funny title for this article: The Antichrist and a Cup of Chai
Would you like a cup of Iraqi chai? The Antichrist would enjoy having some chai with you while you take the mark of the beast.
I hope you had some fun and that Messiah Yeshuah (Christ Jesus) is your Lord and Savior, not the ugly and evil Iraqi dude who will come to oppose and blaspheme the name of the King of King and Lord of Lords.

Imam Mahdi and Palestine: Muslim Cleric Says Mahdi Will Rule From Iraq and Liberate Palestine
A Muslim cleric by the name of Muhammad Baqer Qazwini explains in a video how Islam’s awaited Messiah will appear in the end times, how he will enter the city of Kufa in Iraq to make it the headquarters of his government and how he will liberate Palestine from “occupying forces.” He also says that when Western armies gather to attack the Mahdi, Isa, the Muslim version of Jesus will come from heaven to Jerusalem to meet and support the Mahdi instead of fighting him as believed by Christians who believe the Mahdi is the Antichrist.

The Coming is Upon Us: The Islamic Messiah’s Expected Arrival (Video)

Around the 8th minute mark the host talks about the events in Iraq, how the nation would become the center of conflict in the age of the coming of the Mahdi and how Iraq will “serve as the capital of world’s governance of Imam Mahdi.“

Islamic Shariah Law and Calendar Will Be Enforced in Israel During the Great Tribulation

In a Daniel 7 we read that when the last days empire of Bible prophecy finally arises in the Middle East, its leader known as the Antichrist will persecute the saints of the Most High and enforce a change of law and calendar in Israel. The entire context of the book of Daniel is about events happening to the Jewish people and the land of Israel as the 70 weeks in chapter 9 are specifically addressing Daniel’s people, the Jews of the kingdom of Judah that was taken captive in 586 BC and the city of Jerusalem so this prophecy does not apply to any other group of people and geographical location outside of the land of Israel and Jerusalem.
Seventh Day Adventists have tried to apply this prophecy to the Roman Catholic Church for changing the Sabbath day from Saturday to Sunday several centuries ago, thus making the Pope the Antichrist but that is not what the text is referring to since the prophecy is for the future when the saints of the Most High (Jews living in Israel) will be given to the hands of the Antichrist for “time, times and half a time” which is a reference to the three and a half years of the Great Tribulation.
It is out belief that the last days empire that will persecute Jews and try to annihilate Israel will be Islamic in nature and geographically located in the Middle East as opposed to the popular theory that says it will rise in Europe. Today Israel follows a Hebrew calendar and the year is 5784. This calendar is dividend into civil and ecclesiastical segments with the ecclesiastical new year beginning in the Spring and the civil calendar beginning in the fall. The current Islamic calendar year is 1445 and although Islamic nations might use the Gregorian calendar for secular purposes, they use the Islamic calendar for religious purposes and the annihilation of Israel, the removal of Jews from the land and the final conquest of the city of Jerusalem is a religious duty for all Muslims who want to fulfill the will of Allah.
With God’s permissive will in place so that prophecy can be fulfilled, the coming Islamic empire will eventually invade Israel, enforce Islamic Shariah law and introduce an Islamic calendar, for Daniel 7:25 says that the leader of this coming Islamic empire will intend to “change times and law” when God allows him to invade the land and persecute the saints of the Most High, the Jews living in Israel.

The Coming Babylonian Islamic Empire
In the book The Coming Bible Prophecy Reformation I built a case for the return of the Babylonian empire in the last days. The book can be downloaded free of charge on the link below.
In Daniel 2 we read that the Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar had a dream of an image with a head of gold, chest and arms of silver, belly and thighs of bronze, legs of iron, and feet of iron and clay. Daniel interprets that the image represents a succession of kingdoms that would come and go starting with Babylon as the head of gold. Daniel goes on to explain that the entire image would be destroyed by a stone that comes from heaven and that the gold, the silver, the bronze and the iron would be destroyed “together” all at the same time when struck by the stone.
In this article I’m going to give a brief overview of what I believe the last days empire will be but for an in depth understanding of this perspective, I strongly suggest reading chapter 5 of the book titled The Middle Eastern Paradigm and chapter 9 titled The Role of Islam.
The head of gold is explained by Daniel himself to represent king Nebuchadnezzar and his kingdom, the Babylonian empire. Daniel says the other metals represent what would be the empires that would later conquer the Middle East. The Chest and arms of silver represent the Medo-Persian empire and the belly and thighs of bronze represent the Grecian empire.
When we arrive to the legs of Iron, the traditional view is that it represents the Roman empire but in the book we go into excruciating detail to explain why Rome can’t fulfill that prophecy and why the rise of Islam and its various caliphates throughout Middle Eastern history better fit the description given by Daniel.
When we get to the feet of iron and clay, we should expect to see a divided Islamic empire as the extension of the legs of iron. The final empire would be comprised of 10 kings of 10 Middle Eastern Islamic nations divided into two camps and those two camps would possibly encompass 5 Shiite nations with the majority of them located north and east of Israel and 5 Sunni nations with the majority of them located south of Israel. The maps below gives a visual representation of what the final empire could possibly look like geographically.
What Daniel clearly emphasizes is that the entire image would be standing when destroyed by the stone that comes from heaven. That means that Babylon, Medo-Persia and the Seleucid and Ptolemaic regions of the Grecian empire would exist as a geopolitical and military conglomerate in the end times with Babylon, the head of gold as the leader and capital of this last days empire.
We also see this in the symbolism of the beast in Revelation 13. The beast looks like a leopard, has the feet of a bear and the mouth of a lion, having seven heads with ten horns meaning it’s a geopolitical conglomerate of the three empires mentioned by name in the book of Daniel (Babylon, Medo-Persia and Grecia) all combined into one massive geopolitical entity in the end times with the seven heads being a reference to the 7 empires of biblical and prophetic history.
This coming empire will encompass all the geography of the 7 empires (Egyptian, Assyrian, Babylonian , Medo-Persian, Seleucid Grecian, Roman and Islamic-Ottoman) and will be divided into 10 different nations-states and will be ruled by one leader who will rise as an eleventh horn, will take over the entire confederacy of ten horns/kings and will make it the 8th and final empire.
It’s interesting to note that in Revelation 13 the beast has the “mouth” of lion and the beast has a “mouth” that speaks great blasphemies. The lion represents the Babylonian empire in Daniel 7 and it’s the mouth of the lion that speaks great blasphemies in Revelation 13.
When we combined Daniel 2 and Revelation 13, the pictures that emerges is this: Babylon will rise to become the head, the leader, the capital and the nation that rises in the last days to become the kingdom that will dominate the Middle East and head a geopolitical, religious and military alliance of Islamic states to form the last empire that will persecute the people of God (Israel) and will speak blasphemies against God and His people.
